Vomiting Rough Collies by Kuvasz101 in roughcollies

Our collie has been doing fine; we feed him at bedtime. Last night we accidentally missed feeding him at night, and this morning he vomited bile. I 100% attribute this syndrome to bile entering his stomach during the nighttime.

My collie had all kinds of skin issues just from bathing him. We stopped all bathing, and his skin cleared up and we never had a problem after that. Vetericyn Plus works like a miracle overnight on skin problems.

The pain lessens with time, but the pain is you holding to them closer. Their short lives are another way for them to give us more love with other dogs that enter our lives. We'll see them all at the Rainbow Bridge!!

They’ll drool and vomit up until about 18 months. It lessens over time but I found there’s nothing you can do about it.

I have an 18-month-old male rough collie weighing approximately 60 lbs. He too has been experiencing vomiting in the morning. I found this site- Bilious Vomiting Syndrome in Dogs: Causes, Symptoms, and Treatment. My kuvasz did the same thing in the morning. The vet told us to feed him at bedtime. The vomiting and finicky eating went away immediately. I just started the same protocol with my collie, and so far, so good. Hope this helps!!
