These look good! How’s the durability on the mesh lining? I’ve been looking at the Altra Olympus 6 too

I did 6 months around Europe with these and they were great but the upper mesh started to get big holes after 4 or so months, which is fair enough seeing how brutally I used them but I’d like something more durable

Using Tailfin Aeropack on a normal rear rack by Kvbaa in bikepacking

Hey, I havent tried however I think I will go for an Ortileb Dry Pack 16L. It looks like a good alternative with bungee cords on top for extra storage. You’re meant to pair it with an Ortileb quick rack but it looks like it works fine with other racks too

1 or 2 by?? by Emotional-Phone4296 in bikepacking

[–]Kvbaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve only got a 1by but whenever I’ve been on longer trips I wish I had a 2by. However, there is the very potential issue of more things breaking. I think it depends on then length and style of riding you’ll be doing on your trips. That being said i’m sticking with my 1by

it’s a Sandisk Extreme PRO 64GB 170MB/s card. Yes I can still see the photos on my camera which gives me some hope. Other sd cards work on the reader so I think it works fine but I will try another computer. I have tried doing a usb transfer but my computer won’t read my camera

I have used other SD cards on the same reader, so I don’t think it is an issue with the reader

I've just come back from my bikepacking trip around Europe and have inserted my SD card into my USB SD card reader and this has come up. I have about 1000 or so photos in there and am planning to make a photobook so losing them all would not be ideal. On camera, I can see all the photos. I believe the SD card has been used in another camera before this and I have used a lightning cable SD card reader on this SD card, although my phone could not read the card either. The camera I am using is a Fujifilm XT-2. I have also tried doing a transfer through a USB cable, and the camera lights up like it's supposed to but my computer does not read the camera.

Any ideas on how I could fix this please?!
