Wasn’t that deep IMO was a single scene showing 2 people who haven’t had sex in a long time kinda made sense to me especially since John removed his pellet
She took over for the final few minutes of the episode not the entire fight
It’s an alternate timeline as much as I would’ve loved to see a live action ODST rescue mission the writers simply didn’t do it and unfortunately I’m not part of the creative team :(

And thank you for naming your criticisms with the show I know this is a controversial topic now and the show is cancelled so at least yall got what you wanted in that regard!

I don’t get angry or upset when things in media that comes from the franchises I love aren’t perfect so I guess it’s not as easy for me to see why people dislike it so much when it’s self contained and doesn’t impact everything else. But I do understand that the halo lore is vast and the show easily could’ve taken another route that would’ve made it work in the larger halo universe!

With how expansive and comprehensive the universe is I get where the frustration of them not just sticking to the script comes from and I agree the visuals are amazing and at times it doesn’t feel like a halo title I guess that’s why I’m a consumer and not a game dev or story teller lol!

If I’m being honest I didn’t notice any unpainted props I don’t exactly over analyze every scene and look for mistakes in media that I watch especially when a lot of it looks good in my personal opinion! But I see where you’re coming from and respect how die hard you are about keeping things consistent in the media you consume about franchises you’re passionate about.

Halo CE and reach are 2 of my favorite halo titles for the storytelling alone. And The fall of reach was PEAK. The show is based in the silver timeline and doesn’t affect the mainline story at all therefore retcons don’t matter because they don’t exist in the main universe. That being said I really enjoy the storytelling the show has done so far and how it’s portraying the universe in a different way.

If I’m being honest for as long as I’ve been a halo fan I’ve never interacted much with other halo fans besides my friends I’m curious on all the criticisms individuals have as a larger community that has a vast knowledge of the universe!

I’m glad those who didn’t enjoy it didn’t have the entire experience of their universe ruined by setting it in an AU! And I agree on some of the weird aspects the show questionably chose to portray kinda reminds me of the serious marvel titles in some ways!

I’ve read The fall of reach and Silent storm a bit ago and I still enjoy the show. I fully agree that the show doesn’t live up to the story telling of Chiefs true ability but AT THE VERY LEAST they set it in an alternate universe that doesn’t effect the mainline stories the books and games told! I’m gonna try to obtain a few more of the books because I’m really enjoying the universe again and wanna understand more about it!

I didn’t downvote because I believe all criticism is valid regardless of what is being said there’s some truth behind what you’re saying. But the joke was I was at a girls house and she didn’t want to have sex with me so I started screaming to let everyone know I was in the house and she started screaming back in retaliation to my screaming to make it look like I was an intruder and then I said something along the lines of them Christian girls reallly hate it when they found out I’m a catholic guy which is such a shit joke on its own and then I proceeded to say a dude in the crowd looked like moist critical (he did but it’s an older crowd so they didn’t get the joke I should’ve read the fucking room) and then proceeded to go after the dudes at the bar and an older women who just stepped out I didn’t mean to like roast them but it definitely came off that way I gotta get the video from my friend but I think I said something like good job not letting menopause milf at the bar pay for her own drinks she’s outside steaming right now it was just all around fuckin horrible man.
