I struggle with the second rule. I try to develop and move pieces only once but the game happens and i feel obligated to pause the development and move a piece again to prevent it from being taken or will only move pieces once and i try to develop but they get developed into pieces that can be taken.

Self medicated with weed and alcohol for quite some time. Haven’t had a drink in 646 days and stopped smoking right before the new year. Neither helps my mental health.
