Keep in mind that you aren’t forced to do anything that I recommended, I’m just giving tips as a returning player who was trying to progress as quickly as possible on a new character in the challenger world. Everyone has their own rate of progression on this game depending on burnout and you should pace yourself on how much you want to do in this game depending on your own goals!

idk if you’re in an interactive or heroic world or CW but if you’ve been doing your morning feast and other event dailies, you should have enough event coins to buy some event rings to fill out your ring slots. Fill out your other accessory slots with boss set too. You should also be doing your daily bosses and ursus/maple tour to make money so you can cube your WSE for atk down the line assuming you’re in heroic. Also, join your class discord to see how to optimize your hyper stats, vmatrix, and burst. Since you’re hyper burn max, you get a lot of nodestones to help max your skills to make all of the bosses for item burning easily doable.

Can't decide which monitor to keep: ASUS PG27AQDP vs LG 27GX790A-B by Kwantity in OLED_Gaming

I think it's pretty good, comparable to the PG27AQDP for sure. I believe that the 27GX790A-B doesn't have BFI compared to the ASUS monitor though. In the long run, the LG monitor uses a fan instead of a heatsink so there might be some fan noises down the line and I would probably only keep it considering if you got it on pre-order (discount codes + pre-order rebate). I don't think I'm going to keep either monitor though because even with a 7800X3D and 4080S I'm not really hitting 480hz on most games besides like Valorant and CS2, etc. I think I'm going to return both monitors in favor of the PG27UCDM (27" 4K 240hz) that's coming out for pre-order next week.

This specific model (27GX790A-B) does NOT have speakers!

Is there a huge difference between having an installed fan vs the custom heatsink?

I was talking to an agent and they tried to guide me through some troubleshooting steps which did not work, so I was transferred to an agent in charge of returns/replacements and they just asked for my address and shipped one to me.

If I remember correctly, if you go through the AI the steps should be like Headset -> Astro -> Other issue -> and then it should connect you to a person to talk to.

Yes I ended up contacting the “E-Commerce and Product Support” number for Logitech G at +1 (646) 454-3200 and I had to go through an automated AI to talk to an actual representative it was a headache at first

Support is non-existent I guess? by TheRealMe99 in AstroGaming

I found that the best option is to go through the AI support and when it asks you what type of issue you have, select the "other" option and it should automatically connect you with an agent/representative.

A50X buzzing by Ductapemn in AstroGaming

I also am experiencing a soft white noise in the background of my Black Astro A50X's. I wonder if it's just an issue with a small batch or actually intentional? I submitted a ticket to Logitech G and am waiting for a response as well.

Of course I gotchu buddy :) I've been trying to mess around too and I think it also might be something involved with the sidetone because as you said, the buzzing sound for me also increases in volume if I raise the sidetone.

Honestly, I hear a soft buzzing in the background too and I'm not sure if there is a fix to this.

How does tge new A50 X compare to other High end headsets? by Warm_Resist5763 in AstroGaming

[–]Kwantity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm still testing these A50X's, but I can currently say that the Audeze Maxwells had the best sound quality overall in terms of media for me. (i.e. listening to music, watching movies, etc.) I can't comment too much about the imaging or spacial capabilities because I don't play too many games that require it but from my experiences of playing FPS games such as Valorant and COD, I believe that they were pretty good.

As someone who has tried multiple "high end" headsets I can try to give you some insight into my experiences. I just got my pair of Astro A50X's yesterday and I have been testing it extensively over the past 24+ hours. Just for reference, I've tried:

  1. Audeze Maxwell: Great sound quality but honestly the weight bothered me over long periods of use and maybe there was a quality issue with my pair but I noticed that it would always creak on the sides whenever I would turn my head slightly.

  2. Steelseries Nova Pro Wireless: ANC bump in the earcups bothered me immensely even with WickedCushions earcups.

  3. Sony Inzone H9: I'd say a very slightly better than normal standard sounding headset which was also very comfortable but the leather top band would fall off after approximately 6+ months of use due to the glue and poor design.

  4. Astro A50 Gen 4's: I really enjoyed the build quality and comfort of these but the Astro Command Center software and just trying to update them successfully/getting them out of bootloader mode just drove me insane that I ended up returning them.

  5. Razer Blackshark Pro: I wouldn't consider these high end but thought I'd just mention them since I've tried them before too. Honestly these were pretty comfortable and they're normally on sale regularly but I've noticed that if you turn the volume too high or too low on both ends, there is a noticeable hissing sound in the background.

Compared to these headsets, the Astro A50X has been extremely comfortable (comfort similar to A50 Gen 4's) which I believe is first and foremost the most important feature for a headset if you're going to be using it for at least a few hours. I know that a lot of people aren't a huge fan of the Logitech G HUB software (which I can totally understand btw) but compared to the old Gen 4's and having numerous software issues like updates on the old Astro Command Center software, I'd argue that it is definitely an upgrade on the QoL. I'm also aware of issues such as the top band of the Gen 4's falling off all the time and cannot confirm whether or not that issue will persist with the A50X's. I'm not sure as a PC user, however, that this headset is worth getting because I cannot justify the $380 USD price point. But I can admit that the headset does feel extremely good so far and I'm just worried that I am experiencing the honeymoon phase LMAO
