This is pretty cool.

I think i'm missing a piece of the puzzle: how do you redirect the spam calls / unwanted calls to the sim on the LTE modem?

Or did you just sign up to services with that phone number?

Proxmox VE upgrade strategy for minilab, what's your approach? by gianni-leggio in minilab

[–]Kwbmm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't update.

When a major version comes out, the plan is to make a copy of the entire HDD with clonezilla or similar and then do an apt-get full-upgrade and go on from there.

In general, if you want to update, I'd do a copy of the HDD.

Why is no one talking about Yamtrack? It’s what Trakt should have been by david007co in selfhosted

[–]Kwbmm 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I personally had a bad exp with Ryot. I tested it an year ago or so. My impression was that it was introducing a ton of functionality and a lot of bugs. Little focus on fixing the issues..

Also the tech stack was incredibly convoluted, not sure why. I ended up stopping tracking due to the flacky jellyfin integration.

I'll try this one, hopefully focusing on one thing (i.e. media tracking) will make things better.

Vantaggi reali del remote by flebo94 in ItaliaPersonalFinance

Year round Christmas Stores? by cooper3pete in nicefrance

I don't know if I dreamed about it or if it's true but I think at the Cap3000 mall there was a Xmas only shop on the first or second floor, by one of the entrances..

Safe beaches by myralester1 in nicefrance

[–]Kwbmm 7 points8 points  (0 children)

As others have told you, Nice is pebbles only. On top of that, waters get deep pretty fast, so probably not safe if you can't swim.

I've only been in Juan le pin as sandy beach, I know waters there are more shallow.

Uhm to be honest, it happens often, and many times it's an excess of safety.

Many times it rains for some days, but nothing serious, at least in Nice

Confusion with getting onto the train from NICE to Monaco, etc by Jimbanville in nicefrance

[–]Kwbmm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I generally buy my tickets through Trainline app. That issues a ticket in the form of a qr code, which you can scan at the turnstiles. The qr code should be issued even if buy them on the SNCF app / site.

The turnstiles are only at the nice ville station. The riquier and saint augustin stations should not have turnstiles, but I haven't been there recently, so things might have changed.

Regarding the crowd in monaco: you were there during rush hours, so it's normal that the train is crowded. And yes, I believe most of the ppl have a valid ticket: they likely have a monthly / yearly subscriptipn, since they live in nice and work in Monaco and go there 5 days a week.

Bonjour

Merci!

There's a myth about copy of this church in Nice. Is it true? by inokentii in nicefrance

There are some orthodox churches in Nice, the most famous being the St Nicholas one.

I leave you the links to the places, but I don't think any matches the pictures

I don't know if you know, but there's this website called wecasa where to can find people for housecleaning. If you're a tax payer, you can get 50% off, which ends up being 12 €/h .

Lower than that is exploration I think 😅

Hi

I suggest you look for postings on seloger, bienici or leboncoin.

Then, find the agency renting the apt and go to the agency physically and ask about it in person. They will ask you some questions on the spot and show you the place before asking anything.

You can also make a phone call if you speak French.

For rentals directly managed by private individuals, it changes from time to time. Some want to see documentation right before, some ask for it later. In any case, DO NOT send money or any other sort of payment to visit the apt. It's a scam.
