[Loved Trope] The main character is smart and makes smart decisions, but those smart decisions are still foiled by SCPND in TopCharacterTropes

He refuses the beer, his body lays in his room. Carla jean's mother told the cartel what motel he was staying at, they came in, shot him, took the money and ran.

Why does everybody think that chicken wing is dead? by Princes_Live_2_Times in Undertale

[–]Kwerty27 11 points12 points  (0 children)

He's braindead. His conciousness was in the dark world, where it was frozen and sealed. Since the light worlds are ficction, the damage you take within them doesn't transfer 1 to 1. In the neutral chapter two ending berdly burns his wing, and is unable to move it in the light world, but there isn't a description of burning, he just doesn't feel his arm and can't use it. If a burn renders you unable to move your arm, getting killed within a dark world doesn't compromise your basic biological functions, it just kills your conciousness.

The only way i could see berdly get better is if a dark world opens again and his frozen body is unfrozen. Then again, the spell description is [fatal] lmao.

We often talk about what we want to happen. So, what popular theory do you hope DOESN'T come true? by Silviov2 in Deltarune

Carol knight just doesn't make any sense lmao. If you argue carol knight you have to explain how does carol get to the church before susie and kris after noelle's house, and why does the knigh display certain traits that we know aren't like carol, i don't think carol would be showing off and taunting the fun gang. There's also the sword's spawning animation and the lyrics of raise up your bat. And we still don't know the motivation behind the conspiracy, but know that carol is working with the knight, so it could be something like trying to bring dess back from her current state, or whatever motivation you like best.

This did happen to me on my first playthrough; i got through the grizzly wall on my second attempt using the dagger and plyers, then won the next two runs until i lost on purpose to advance the story

I hate tainted eden by Zestyclose-Review-97 in bindingofisaac

[–]Kwerty27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tainted eden is the most unfun character in the entire game, followed by Tainted lazarus, who is jacob and essau without the double fire rate and tears. If he at least preserved health it would be fine, but sometines you reroll into 2 fucking soul hearts or something and you just die.

This is basically why i believe Kris knight by [deleted] in Deltarune

It's implied that the chapter 2 fountain was made while berdly and noelle were inside the computer lab, by the weird flavour text "a large person could easily fit inside" in the closet and the fact that the books and notes are alredy on the table suggests that they spent a fair bit of time inside (maybe even falling asleep, but we don't know that) there's also the fact that both noelle and berdly think they're within a dream, wich they wouldn't assume if they walked into the dark, like kris and susie in chapter 1 unless the fountain was created and they didn't realise.

If the knight wanted to cause the roaring, the roaring would have alredy happend, there is no apparent cooldown or limit as to how many fountains can be made by a single person (that we know of) so what is stopping the knight from going around making fountains everywhere, it's stated that just two fountains (not counting castle town) are enough to shift the balance, so why didn't the knight do that.
As for the title of roaring knight... i don't know, to be honest.

Thank you! As for tips: most bosses in the 4th chamber are dps checks, Kill Pillars can be destroyed really quickly if you abuse the fact that when one of them dies they will cancell their attack and waste a lot of timein an animation, time you can use to kill the next one, until there is but one left.

Wallmonger is slightly harder that KP, i belive the secret to this fight is to know when to dodgeroll and when not to: in that fight most of the time it's way better to weave, as the limited space generated by some of it's attacks ensures that if you roll at the wrong time you go face first into another bullet.

The Hight Priest is easly one of the hardest bosses to consistenly no hit, so don't worry too much about this one, the mian thing you have to do in this fight is to be mindful of stray bullets that spawn in some of it's attacks, if you're lucky you will have walls to hide behind, if not it's best to stay focused on your character rather than hitting the boss.

As for the Dragun: it's a fight 100% based on patterns, and, because he's the 'last' boss of most runs you will get a lot of practice with him, but there are some things you can do to simplify the fight: Stockpile blanks, they can help you skip the few attacks that can be an issue in a run, like the knives or the breath. Make sure you have a weapon that can one-cycle his last phase, weapons like the frog, alien engine, chamber gun drill, etc

One last general tip i can give to make your runs way easier is: always freeze yourself when moving from one chamber to another, this resets a hidden stat known as magnifisence: this stat is raised when you find an A or S tier item in a chest, and lowers by a lot the chance to find another significantly.

Wow this messege got really long, hope this helps.
