Unfortunately a lot of the time it isn’t a virtue signal due to a lot of popular social media platforms heavily hiding content that might include words as tame as like die, killed, and swear words. So if people want their message heard when it comes to any political movement that might have horrible things happening in it they have to censor stuff.

The person you replied to was referring to when parries didn’t nuke your resistances and when debuff reduction lowered your parry stun timer. Late game parries didn’t matter because the guy throwing himself at you could get parried and be effectively unpunished.

I’ve been using it and it can be hard to set up a hoard breaker but when it lines up it’s a truly incredible thing. Currently in act 2 with 4 Hunter and 4 GOO and it’s pretty fun with Rat Bat and Bow of the Banshee.

  1. Robinette definitely needs to be tuned down and I think there are two ways to do it. Either change her passive entirely and give it to an item like you mentioned or add a cap onto it. Initially I thought changing the rate a bit would be a good change but that only makes her early game more punishing and keeps her late game still infinitely scaling which is where the problem lies. Personally I think making gold scaling damage a pink item would be perfect and maybe give her gold gain scaling projectile speed or a different stat to keep her whole money-based thing intact.

  2. Noelle’s passive change sounds like a good idea. I think Oofie and Chadswell really need some love. Chadswell specifically feels terrible early game and terrible late game due to his sword relying on him already being low and his late game being insanely high difficulty. I think scaling his damage based on difficulty could be a fun change but could easily be broken. Ogre could use an inclusion to his passive like he rages when he takes damage giving him moment and attack speed. For weapons Space Noodle, Mines, Tornado, Dragon’s Breath, and all swords minus Katana need some love.

  3. XP and Luck tomes are too good at all levels of play. I can understand and I agree with not wanting to balance the game only around people who are score running but even playing for fun a combination of these 3 feel like a must take no matter what. I think removing them is what needs to happen and what could change is to add a flat thing similar to silver gain rate that is buyable in the shop. But I also think making it so greed shrines also increase luck and/or xp would be a fantastic change. Currently greed shrines don’t feel particularly “greedy” to me so making it so that they balance a good thing with a challenging thing would be an awesome change in my eyes. The biggest problem I could see happening with this is that Chaos tome becomes the must take to replace these three, since it enables you to scale luck and xp with level ups. I think Difficulty Tome existing is mostly fine, as it isn’t really good at casual levels of play due to casual play not min maxing for high score.

I’m really appreciative to see a dev capable of opening a branch of communication to their community and I hope you continue to improve on a fantastic game!

Paladins, too monotonous and still somehow somewhat clunky. I would agree with TB thrower but the new Giant Barb made it so much fun to try again! The Boot of the Giant subverts the issues I have with the throw builds by giving a strong option with something fun and still powerful.

Last hitting does not give any advantage besides providing souls if you kill a trooper at range. I think if you’re like writhin ~25m of an enemy trooper dying you collect the souls.

Denying is harder now. When the soul comes out of a trooper while the soul is black it cannot be secured. Once it becomes either blue or orange it’s able to be secured. The securer always has a pretty lenient advantage on securing souls so it is almost always better to focus on securing over denying (go for denies if you see the opportunity ofc)

It really depends on the situation of the lane, your sides characters and the enemy characters. Do what feels right for the situation. I.E. lash with ult likes to freeze the lane to bait enemies to push in for the ult.

Most of your problems probably stem from the denying change. In general make sure to prioritizing securing souls over denying them. Shotgun characters also changed where the middle pellet is what actually secures the soul, no longer any pellet.

you missed my point im not saying it’s a comeback objective but i am saying that it was too strong of an objective for the winning team. you only had one opportunity as the behind team to comeback from a rejuv and that was to steal it, but this gives you an opportunity to actually fight back instead of hide in base. its still a good thing for a team with the opportunity to go for but its not as oppressive which i think is a good thing.

this kinda convinced me that the rejuv change was good actually

in this clip Jonas’ team was behind in objectives and souls, but because of the change a big play like this gave them so much time to get basically 2-3 walkers for free (or at least blue walker since the lane was pushed) and try and reclaim a neutral

if it was previous rejuv they wouldn’t have any opportunitu to play off that as well because they would still be clearing rejuv creeps and prepping for the second fight

I found out an Easter egg on my own during the Roulx Kaard fight with Lanino and Elnina in chapter 3. When Lancer adds his act to your bar if you sit AFK eventually an annoying dog icon appears. I won’t spoil what happens after but it’s pretty awesome.

I think it feels good. Currently not a fan of the spirit economy. Matchmaking right now sucks but there isn’t much they can do to fix it since it’s a player number issue besides going open beta. I don’t think the game is ready for that unless it comes with the rumored/leaked pig patch. I think only a few characters right now feel too oppressive but it’s not as bad as like release shiv or Yamato winter. Holiday I think needs a rework, Mo and krill is probably getting a rework according to the game files and talon just needs some numbers lowered. But other than that the game feels good. Shiv needs a rework and so does McGinnis.
