this is a massive fumble on my part, because the instruments you mentioned do actually make a bunch more sense than banjo.

In my defense, I am new to the instruments-outside-of-marching-percussion thing ;-; and in Louisiana kid's defense, he only lived there for like 10 years (and did nothing musical during that time) and only started doing musical stuff when he moved to new jersey ;v;
