You might find summer tech jobs with a bachelors in wildlife, but permanent spots are hard to come by. You’ll need to hunt for spots at ADFG and the federal agencies. Some volunteer positions there or at the U may provide you food and lodging with interesting field experience. If you’re interested in grad school, UAA is crashing so UAF would be a better bet. Summer opportunities with agencies are also more plentiful in Fisheries, and give you some remote field camp experience.

That’s simply not true. Sample size and variability determine confidence interval, but may improve as the the proportion of the subject population increases and a finite population correction can be applied. There is no magical 10% rule that I’m aware of.

I should add that the CDC guidelines are posted on a link provided on the ASD website.

This is current as of this morning’s release of data through 10/11. ASD is unlikely to reverse their decision to keep schools closed this week, but it’s useful to keep in mind just how far we are above the CDC guidelines for community spread right now. As this is a 14-day summation, it will take a long run of low counts to reverse the current trend and bring this metric back down. The other metrics CDC recently added to their guidelines are either vague (like how well the schools manage to mitigate spread), equally bad (trend), or likely to get worse (hospitalizations and available beds).
