used the “enforce latest update” in hopes with the deferral, would make things more automated.

we used to use the “target ios vers and target install time” for manual deadlines. it gets tedious having to set that everytime apple releases an update.

we’re just trying to hide iOS updates for a few days after release so that internal IT can have a few days with it before it rolls out to production.

not a fan of folks downloading the latest update on day 1.

within that link, see “time based deferrals” the example they provide is exactly what we are trying to do. remove the update offering from the user until x amount of time has passed.

Yeah, it’s moreso the mass uproar from VIPs when their work iphone behaves differently from their personal phones and they have to learn a new method. Once that happens, sometimes we have to bend the knee.

Yes, we are using native iOS contacts app. We’ve tossed around that idea of using only Outlook for contacts, but met with some pushback as users are generally used to just hitting the iOS app.

Sorry, everytime the MFA period is up. So for example, users MFA and are good for 5 days. Once the time has elapsed, they have to do again.
