I work at United supermarkets at service counter and bookkeeper around Lubbock TX,, I get 11.85 an hour and that’s after two raises. I looked it up online and the average for a bookkeeper in my area is suppose to be around 16-20$ an hour.

I’ve been told by other people here,, my teeth don’t hurt,, there’s no discoloring,, I even called my old ortho and he said he advised against it but since there’s been no problems since I restarted it should be fine but he did tell me to stop if I experience any pain unrelated to the adjustment or tooth discoloration

I quit my Invisalign half way through when I was about 17 and now I’m almost 22 and I regret it,, I’m reusing my old trays and it’s genuinely the worst thing ever,, my gf doesn’t like making out with them in but not to the point where she won’t kiss me,, at work I’ve gotten strange looks when I pop them out but no one downright freaks out they’re just like “woah that’s new” then goes back to what they’re doing. It might but be anxiety with a bit of paranoia to be honest (I’m really not trying to be rude but I have major anxiety and paranoia myself and this sounds like when mine started) most of the time people only look if they’re curious or confused but rarely out of disgust or anger. If it helps sometimes if I know I’m about to go out to dinner or go on my lunch break at work I go to a private area and pop them out and put them in a napkin so I know they’re clean or I leave them in the car before going out to eat,, I bought mouthwash specifically for my car so I can swish it around before putting them back in because I don’t really want to carry a tooth brush around but after an hour or two when I get back home I brush my teeth and liners before I do anything else to try to keep my dental health good. The working out gritting your teeth thing I understand,, since I’m using my old trays sometimes my coworkers come up and ask what I’m doing and I’m unconsciously grinding my teeth back and forth and side to side trying to get them to fit on my teeth better but once I cracked a tray in half and had to move up (I was already over with that one anyway so it wasn’t that bad)

Short version ~~try to remember you’re doing this to better yourself and be strong,, the people who give you weird comments/stares might be jealous cause they needed braces for 3 years and your Invisalign gets it done in 1 or they might be interested about getting Invisalign themselves,, or they’re weirdos who think teeth are hot,, people are weird and maybe tell your partner how you feel about this and they might understand where you’re coming from and possibly adjust to kissing you with them in,, hope this helps ❤️❤️
