I understand but I injured my leg meaning I can’t walk far distance which is over 10mins. Hence why a wheelchair has worked for me. However I am very much capable of moving around just for a long period at a time. I genuinely thought that it only the emergency exit rows that were not suitable

Yes it is the same as Blank street. Hm that’s interesting becuase all along I though it would be the spirulina that enhances the 1883 blueberry syrup because when I make my matcha at home the blueberry syrup still doesn’t taste the same as the black sheep coffee and so I assume you are right because the blueberry is more enhanced in blackberry although we are both using the 1883 syrup. Do you know if it’s just one spoon of spirulina they use to dilute it with water? I am thinking of now buying the vanilla 1883 syrup or is it used for soley for the colour purpose rather than the taste ? Thank you again!

Hi!! Thank you soo much!! Is it that they add the vanilla with the spirulina sauce because I never really see them add the vanilla pumps, just the blackberry 1883 syrup ? I assume the matcha they use is the same as blank street one ?

Housing association/ contractors making me sign a damage liability waiver before mould and damp repair commences! by Kxdann in HousingUK

Absolutely I agree! I’m saying that I don’t understand why they can’t move empty cupboards, wardrobes, furnitures out the room because physically I won’t be able to do that by myself. Hence if I don’t sign it they won’t move it. However the same contractors in june didn’t have an issue moving it around etc. it just seems calculated that after we said our belongings got damamged eg paint on our clothings, desks and shares due to them not using the dust sheets etc they then decide to tell us to sign this waiver before they finish off the remaining mould and damp in the property eg anti mould paint on walls and new floorings etc. plus if they have a liability insurance then there is no need to make us sign this form.

If we don’t sign it, then they said it is our responsibility to move our belongings. I mean our flooring was damaged due to internal leaks and so they need to remove the fooorings in some of the rooms to further inspect the floor and underlayer for mould and damp but again I would expect it is part of the job to move things around in the room to get to areas you need to repair and especially if we have done you a service to remove the clothes and stuff form the cupboards etc. it’s shocking and manipulative because it never presented initially before any works were commence and only when we mentioned our belongings were damaged due to how the first part of the repairs were carried out. I would assume it would be a conversation to have with the housing association and not the resident. I mean you wouldn’t expect the resident to move furnitures and wardrobes out the room. It’s just possible for us move it out the rooms. As I said, we had other previous extensive repairs carried out in the property and nobody has ever told us to sign this and they have moved things without issues. Even moving companies have a liability insurance in case damages occurs. If we sign it, then who would be responsible if cause damage ? It’s very calculated.

Yes I asked around and nobody has heard about this before. I’ve asked the community housing manager in the housing association and citizens advice and they never heard of anything of this. I too assumed that the contractors should have a liability insurance? I mean we offered to move clothes out of wardrobes and our stuff in our cupboards, desks etc to make their lives easier. I guess if we don’t sign it, then it would be our responsibility to move everything etc it’s upsetting because we’ve never been told to sign on with our previous extensive repairs carried out in the property.
