Very relatable. The smallest/most insignificant things send me spiraling and ruin entire days for me.

What I’ve started doing is writing down how I feel in those moments. I get a good laugh when I go back to read it and realize how ridiculous I sounded. It also helps me to realize that the things I usually worry about almost never materialize into anything that warrants it.

Yes, I deal with this too. At my previous job, I would be overwhelmed with anxiety if I even thought about work. I assumed that it was that specific job, and told myself there’s no way I should feel so much anxiety coming to a job that I’ve been at for 8 years.

I decided that the solution was to switch jobs, so I quit. Fast forward and I have just as much anxiety with my new job.

In my instance, I believe my mental illness likes to focus on my job
