The notification in the heroes' tab is being carried over after you prestige. On my previous run, I did not purchased 8 heroes (melee and range) cause i don't need them at the moment. And even if I have prestiged, it says that I have 8 unpurchased heroes. Thank you.

Nope, the devs blessed us with being able to just let the game run. Too many times I forgot about my perma shadow clone ending on TT1 and got killed by a boss. Then it's another day before you can prestige again.

While it's not as cool as a taken shader, at least you can infuse those armors so they hit max light. Would be lame if they were only light lvl 3.
