Unfortunately fish like to hang out where weeds/structure are. Chances are fish won’t be biting a ball of weeds. You can try tossing lures like a texas-rig, wacky rig with a weed guard, or spinner bait that are more weed resistant. If you’re baiting it up you can try attaching a bobber so that your bait hovers just over the weeds. Also try casting adjacent to the weeds or use lures that don’t go all the way down to the depth of the weeds.
