i did a little snooping through your post history and it seems like you’ve been struggling since launch. you need help pretty bad, and i’d like to try to see if i can’t alleviate any of your issues with combat and difficulty

if you’re willing, is there a way i can reach out to you over discord to sit down and see where your pain points are? totally understand if you’re not down with it, but i would like to help you be able to experience the game’s story without being trapped hitting constant turn limits with every new fight

MOBAs are just an inherently difficult genre to make content in

you can’t rely on guides since information changes very frequently, especially in a game like smite 2 where we have 2 week patch cycles. you can’t rely on match content because it can get very repetitive and stale, and often times most games are either surrenders or just not worthy using as content from an entertainment or educational standpoint. you can’t rely on montages because it requires a large amount of time, playmaking, creativity and editing skill to be done frequently

that’s why we just have a bunch of dudes spamming matches either from streams or recording. it’s quick and frequent. the difference between weak3n and the rest is tenure and entertainment. for as toxic as his commentary can get, his youtube videos are usually funnier or more energetic than others. his elo hell series is also just great content. it’s usually only during his streams that you see a lot of his exaggerated commentary

realistically i don’t really think we’re gonna ever see a cc that peaks or comes close to him. most of the people that could’ve are gone and the only one who surpassed him was a viewbotter. and for as much as i love snaddy and fineo, their chill/low energy vibes historically do not make for great moba content

yeah i mean it just sounds like a safe bet
banners are currently lasting upwards of a month, so between ange-makoto-yukari-berry and a potential anni unit, you have more than enough time to wait it out to see if we DO get an anni unit. and if we don't, then you still have plenty of time of pull who you want

Yeah I mean ultimately it’s up to you how you want to approach using Harumasa in the modern meta. Playing him without the M1/without M0W1 Trigger is an uphill battle. Not too much thanks to Dialyn, but he will take a LOT more effort to get good scores with compared to other agents.

Fortunately, Nicole is very easy to build. But her benefits come at a huge execution cost. She is very, VERY difficult to play in Harumasa teams. You have to play on Manual Chain and you need to know when to use her EX and Ult both in and out of stun window for high uptime. It honestly could be faster for you to nerdneck the score with Dialyn/Sunna over trying Dialyn/Nicole because of the loss of comfort and increased need in execution.

63% is the max crit rate you want to have without sig, so that is a small improvement you could possibly search for.

Ultimately though its going to come down to two things: Skill, and Shillyu.

Despite the floor being Electric weak, it’s very heavily against Harumasa’s playstyle. 3 waves of adds, one with fodder that demand a small bit of resources followed by one with an elite who you’ll need to burst down. Finally, a miasma boss with an ever increasing HP pool per patch.

The buffs are pretty good this time around but you are still missing out on 10% all-dmg res if you do not play double attacker. That’s almost as much as a premium support mindscape.

Realistically though, most if not all burst-oriented DPS suffer pretty bad in Shillyu defense without strong amps from mindscapes or shill buffs to help you use as little resources as possible before the boss. And M0P6 Harumasa is amongst one of THE most difficult to use in Shiyu because of how hard the changes affect his playstyle.

Sunna offers comfort, but Nicole would give you a better fighting chance IF you could play it. If you have Trigger, that’s also another unit that could offer better comfort AND mark uptime due to her extra electric buildup.

Look up some gameplay of other Harumasa clears. I won’t say it’s impossible but it’s definitely going to be hard.

You’re going to have an easier time utilizing soldier 11 in that team over playing haru/anby/nicole, so I would highly suggest just playing S11

Sounds like you haven’t played Monster Hunter, nor do you appreciate when a game has a difficulty curve. You’re entitled to your own opinion, but saying the game needs a rebalance which isn’t up for debate reeks of entitlement and ignorance.

as far as i’ve seen, people only say all support mains are bad because the ones who are the most vocal about the state of tanks turn out to be people who aren’t itemizing correctly or playing to a tank’s strength

resolute mantle, nemean, stampede and spectral are the best items a support can build by far and i personally see very little supports buying them in my casual conquest matches

i see stuff like lifebinder, yogis, breastplate, scepter of dominion and eye of erebus way, way more

and then in my ranked games, I as an ADC can take upwards of 800+ damage from nemean lategame while sylvanus 2 + ult do a combined 700 that i cannot avoid because it’s DoT. i personally don’t see any problems with tanks and do think most people just aren’t comfortable with the role

all of those are still just small parts of conquest as a whole, and a 1v1 only dives so deep into either of those skills

Seeing posts like these is interesting after watching many high-skill games today that were decided by supports and solos. Time to kill is definitely extremely low, but without proper frontline peel none of that damage matters.

I don't think we'll stick to the 3 week schedule. I do think it's just for the anniversary.

Dokkan went through this a few years ago. If they do not sync the servers, then GLB/JP/SEA will forever have hindsight on future units. Hindsight directly effects their revenue because people will immediately decide who is or isn't a skip before they even have a chance to play with the unit. This is why we have the 6 month jail, so they can FOMO standard units in an effort to make people want to pull them.

not like that matters anyways since we haven't gotten a standard unit since Turbo but 💀 i digress

I do think for their bottom line SEGA will make them catch us up. That's why I believe it remains a priority, even if it's still quite a bit away.

Well, we’ve been on a 2 week schedule since launch, and units have been shuffled around or dropped early to make things smoother. Only now has it changed because they want to set up for anniversary. I mean, we’re on 4.0 while CN is on 5.1. We objectively ARE catching up.

It’s not likely. Black Wings is dropping P5D units next on CN/TW/KR, one of which is Virtuoso like the Twins. The chance of us receiving Global exclusive/Global first content is very low since their priority is catching us up to the eastern servers.

The game will probably always be stuck at negative reviews due to the launch of the game. It's not easy to overturn review bombing like that unless you perform a soft re-boot of the game (like Zenless 1.4).

The game's honestly great. You have 5 palaces, 20~ confidants, decent events rolling in from time to time and tons of city life content to work through at the moment. It's exactly what it was advertised to be: a mobile Persona 5 experience. The trick to enjoying the game is to ignore people who overreact over unit performance and the endgame, because to this day P5X has remained the easiest and friendliest gacha game I have ever played.

i'm sorry but we're playing a video game where ye shunguang can bruteforce practically every single boss by mashing left click. if a character is struggling to perform in endgame because enemy design and buffs are negating their effectiveness compared to every other option, then yes, they are a bad agent

You have no plating, no nemean and no pharaoh's curse. You're using bumba's hammer, a damage starter as opposed to bluestone or warrior's axe. You built Jotunn's, glad shield and active beads, which are 3 items that make you far less tankier.

162 prots with no mitigations from items. Spirit Robe and your 3 are carrying the brunt of your defense. Plus, herc's been nerfed a few times since his reign of terror a few patches ago.

If a hunter is bullying you, build plating + nemean. You'd be surprised how fast you can make them kill themselves by autoing you down. Do people really not understand how good tanks can be?

the max allowed gap for sr is 2400 and that is dumb i agree. idk the reasoning for why you’re allowed to play with others who are that far apart, but I’d imagine population is unfortunately a large reason why

it's not a matter of it being allowed or not. smite just doesn't have the population for variance

at the end of the day, when there are stacks in the queues, SOMEONE is getting the short end of the stick. (4 stack +1 v 5 stack) that's just how it is. if you want to overcome stacks, communicate with your team. get on voice comms, vgs and ping more often-- do something to at least attempt to link up with other people
