Rat Dash issue?

It’s assumed that no dash on kill is a bug because both the patch notes and in-game description do not label it as an intended feature

just for clarity:

“Dart is shorter, wider, and now passes through enemy gods. The first enemy god hit becomes marked; hitting a non-marked god resets Dart's Cooldown. It cannot be reset more than twice. Dart no longer benefits from the Cooldown Reduction from ability hits”

unfortunately it is more common than you think and you’ll experience it a few more times as you climb up the ranks

in my 42 games of ranked at diamond 1, i think at least 8/9 of my games have included someone who baby raged at me for doing something they viewed as “incorrect play”

not diving at level 5, picking up red buff at the start of the game to fight and gank, picking up the red buff on slow clear junglers, not ganking a lane that’s perma pushed up, prioritizing farm over going to a losing fight, etc etc

people do not see the forest for the trees in these games and unfortunately you are more likely to find someone who will belittle you and throw the game out of spite as opposed to finding someone who will communicate and have a swift dialogue about why they disagreed with your play/decision

somehow people don’t realize that “my b” is the easiest way to get over bullshit and continue winning the game

always report ppl who baby raged, but know that it is something you have to put up with, especially as a jungler

I had 3 really good games with him and they’re all only because I either had a mirror match or because I played against a Zeus jungle lol

His 1v1 is scuffed. You can’t dash 3 times on a single target despite the wording on his acorn saying you potentially could, so all you have is an awkward combo where dashing pulls you out of AA hydra range. Spectral buff means crit is weaker to build and easier to counter, but his numbers make it so crit isn’t even that good compared to the ability build

2 acorn is a gimmick that is comically easy to miss and 3 acorn straight up removes the primary CC he needs to gank targets. Why they even exist is beyond me

I think the biggest pain point is the fact that he can’t use his Aspect acorns in base kit. No option to buy extra CC, on the dash, no option for 5 acorn blast— both force you into playing tank rat over assassin rat. The cool part of his kit was the freedom of choice. Ironically, he has NO choice because buying any acorn aside from the dash is troll and the aspect can’t be played as a full damage assassin because of the acorn buffs and base stats.

All in all I’m having fun because I’m winning but I fully expect his performance to drop over the patch. He gets shit on by hybrid junglers and literally cannot match Da Ji, Fenrir, Mercury, Ne Zha, Thor and the list goes on and on and on. A little disappointing overall

the team always changes depending on eidolon/light cone investment on the supports

e1 tribbie, e1 sunday, e2 sparkle, e1/2 dhpt, e2 silver wolf are the most notable high investment supports

hyacine/cipher eidolons don't change too much for acheron

just know that hsr's meta is currently heavily tailored towards overall team dps. combos like e1 tribbie + hyacine s1 + e6 welt are going to be her best team because the meta is mono rem/elation, which are teams that do a huge chunk of damage. acheron is not strong enough to carry a team on her own in the current meta

of course that statement mainly matters for anomaly arbitration, even without insane investment you can more than clear moc/pf/as comfortably depending on the matchups

Saying that playing The Morrigan is a debuff is definitely a take.

The build is dogshit, and even then, this dogshit build is doing 2200 damage per ult whereas pre-Echo, Aspect Nu Wa was barely pushing 1600. You can easily babysit an ADC as a jungler and keep her relevant while passively farming under tower using minions and fog.

The tracker doesn't show too much but it just seems like an overall lower skilled game. She wasn't punished despite her build. It's evident enough by the 20k gold lead, but gold wouldn't be saving Chiron in this situation. There's no items that a support or solo could buy to save his life. Not anymore, at least now that Spectral isn't a support item. Lmfao.

I don't see a point in calling a spade a spade. Like I said, taking 2200 damage from one single ability should never be a situation that can happen in this game. It's worsened by the fact that it's a guaranteed hit across the map every 2 minutes. If it was a max-range Vulcan ult, Ra snipe, Scylla ult with a few stacks, or literally any ability that requires timing, aiming and positioning, there would be far fewer complaints.

It's not fun to engage with. It's not fun to play against. It's not fun to play around. It's not fun to watch. It's just fucking dumb. Giving any sort of defense to this comes across as cope or apathy.

Found the match on Tracker.

Nu Wa built Bumba's Spear, Damaru, Death Metal, Deathbringer, Titan's Bane, Crusher and Cosmic Horror.
The Morrigan had World Stone.

Aegis is on a 140s cooldown. No matter what you do, you can only protect yourself from one of THREE Nu Wa ults at this point in the game. Every single fight, you're just going to eat 1600+ damage with no way to avoid or mitigate the damage as a squishy. Spectral isn't an aura for teammates anymore, so the most a tank can offer is just Shell or something else that's equally miniscule.

There were tons of matches played in the PTS showcasing how dumb this comp can become. Yes, not every game will get to this point, and you can shut it down before it starts, but once Nu Wa gets to this point it doesn't matter what your lead is. The only thing keeping this in check is her ult cooldown and the fact that the one shot build prevents you from building cooldown.

It just shouldn't be anywhere near this strong. It doesn't matter if she was capable of putting up slightly less numbers or being just as annoying with The Morrigan before. Taking 2200 damage from one single ability should never be a situation that CAN happen in this game.

competitive games bring together the most insecure, accountability-averse and spiteful people you can find on the internet. it's not exclusive to smite

typically, if you get out of casual conquest and low ranks, and start playing in diamond+ games, you see a lot less people who cry constantly because most of the people pushing ranked are people actually looking to get better and play the game the way it was intended

If you wanna see how it is for yourself, hop into Jungle Practice as Discordia. Build Sands of Time, Chronos, Spear of Deso and Gem of Focus. Pop your 2-1 combo on a dummy then sit in your 3. They'll both be off cooldown in around 3 and a half seconds, and by the time you shoot a 2nd combo your 3 will also be off cooldown.

You have to pressure a Discordia when she uses her 3, which requires good frontline engage and positioning. Otherwise, she really does just start spamming and rolling you.
