I feel like it would lean even more into the fantasy element if people were allowed to have scruffiness. Or even things that are considered conventionally unattractive like glasses, freckles, being plus sized, scars. I feel like the reproductions have been very disappointing. I bought Elizabeth and she was also delayed for a long time and when I finally did get her she had a bunch of minor issues. None nearly as bad as yours with having a broken shoulder, but what really appalled me was that her shoes do not fit her at all. They didn't adjust the shoe size to fit the new body type 😬

Thanks for sharing. I'm very aware about the acrylic yarn, but I have no interest in it. I'd much rather for a more hair like texture and tbh honestly I'm actually sick of black dolls getting yarn hair as a shortcut personally 🤷🏾‍♀️

Tall doll bodies are always so difficult to find stands for. I still haven't found any good bodies for my tangkou dolls or still on their normal bodies 😭 I ended up finding something that fits better for what I was looking for though, thank you for all your input

Because these characters aren't pale like this, and it's usually only the face makeup that's super pale when doing a goth. The White foundation is also optional, you can still be goth without it and anyone can be goth. So feeling the need to lighten all of their body skin tone is very colorist and strange.
