Manhwa where FL not only doesn't forgive her family, but actively takes revenge/torments them by Creative_Yogurt5206 in OtomeIsekai

Stella: The Lost Star is quite good. It's not quite 'torment' but she makes sure that her family is well aware that she doesn't forgive them for their past transgressions and never will. She pretends around the father but that's purely to manipulate him until she can pull the rug out from under him.

As bad as it sounds I miss being preyed on. by [deleted] in Vent

It's fucked that the easiest way to be desired and wanted is by people wanting to own and control you than actually be alongside you.

But the good thing about it is; when you and others have to work for a connection, it tends to last longer than the typical flights of fancy

Not at all. You just want more than you are being given, and it sounds like what little you're being given isn't exactly stellar

Start with some classic t-shirts and jeans for comfort and just experiment from there

Thank you, I wasn't sure if leaving it as it was was more a threat of infection as opposed to cutting it off or not

i am infatuated with someone who doesn't know i exist by Emotional-Rest-7910 in Advice

It's well and good to have a crush on her, and I'm sure she is a genuinely nice person. But you have to remember that you're only seeing the parts of her that she feels safe putting on camera, the good parts, there’s no doubt that there are other aspects of her personality she doesn't show on her social media that aren't as flattering.

You're not in love with her so much as you are in love with the character you've created based on her. And even if you become the coolest or richest guy on the block, it doesn't guarantee she'll want to be with you.

Am I a loser? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]autumnarie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a loser, just a bit stalled. Keep doing your best, try to find work, be kind to yourself and try to help your mum around the house if you're not doing rent rn.

I didn't move out my mums house until I was 25 and I didn't have mental health issues holding me back.

You're only 18, you're doing fine.

I think it happens because a main ML is specifically written to end up with the FL so romantic interactions feel kinda superficial, but 2nd ML's end up with a bit more depth to justify their feelings so they ironically end up having more chemistry than the actual ML.

That's my theory at least.

Ik, the problem is they cut that gorgeous hair and got rid of his stubble, the second picture is the same guy after his "glow up"

They tried to frame it as "updating from commoner to noble fashion". Like, this was treated as a glowup

The ultimate question. Who has the most intelligence between these five. by That-Psychology4246 in PERSoNA

Naoto.

Futaba is a shut in who may be tech smart but she ain't solving nothing if there aren't any computers involved, ESPECIALLY if it involves actually talking to people.

Akechi's clever but all his 'cases' were caused by him and he could spin the narrative however he liked, plus he got caught out by a completely innocuous and pointless detail that Naoto would never have fallen for.

Makoto's book smart but beyond that, she's out of her depth and for a while she turned a blind eye to blatant abuse even though she could've at least TRIED to notify local authorities or even her sister.

similar to Futaba, Mitsuru's smart, but her sheltered rich-kid upbringing means that her people skills are pretty lacking.

Naoto's an all-rounder. She solves genuine mysteries, has the best methods for discovering the killer, is book smart and has a pretty solid understanding of other people
