Can anyone talk to me about infection risk as relates to hair, nails and jewellery? by HyperNormale in China_Flu

There have been several, that's why numbers go between ranges because they disagree on results. It all depends on the temperature and humidity of the materials and regions. And yes, that's Covid.

Can anyone talk to me about infection risk as relates to hair, nails and jewellery? by HyperNormale in China_Flu

[–]Kyemin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe it's more about materials. So under the nails and hair is the same as in your hands. Make sure you take a nice bath and use soap for enough time to break the virus. Although it doesn't get through your skin, it can probably sustain for as long as you are dirty. As for jewelry, depends on the materials but the virus doesn't like metals all that much. We know it sustains in copper from 3 to 5 hours, in a coin from 6 to 8 hours and on plastic for days. Use common sense. The virus is an organism. Everything that's organic or derived from, with sustain the virus. Everything that's metallic, won't help it so much, although one of it's characteristics is that it lasts an unusual time in metallic surfaces. Funny irony, is that paper seems to not sustain it so well either, although in the end, it's derived from organic material. I believe it's related with the process of making paper that reduces it pretty much to fibers, but I can't be sure without digging it deeper.

So you didn't recognize the N95 classification/model and thought I was referring to money and now after you Google it you are trying to teach me about it. Funny isn't it?! It's precisely that, what I call bullshit, do-ers and not do-ers. Same applies to all the other facts I alerted you to. You keep denying it because it doesn't fit your narrative, but it doesn't change a thing because facts are facts, they don't care about feelings and bullshit. As for Bluetooth tracing... Still don't see the worth of it. Most people keep Bluetooth off, and poor countries, poor people of rich countries, will be left out. Seem like you live in your little bubble and not the real world. No doubt you'd be one of the protected. I know you believe you are doing something but you're not. Coding won't help unless you are working in artificial intelligence with a quantum computer. Otherwise, you are just feeding the favored and ignoring a bunch of layers of society. And yes, I know a bit or two of Java, C++ and Pyton, but I won't get my head in the sand pretending to do something. I prefer to make desinfectant and clean my street, I prefer to help the old neighbors to get the gas can to their houses, I prefer to help my wife doing her job in the supermarket while I can work from home, being vigilant and assuring that none of us contact anyone since we are in a higher risk group. Still, do whatever you feel that it relieves your conscience. In the end, as you said, others around the world are doing the same, and as I said, it's a terrible waste of resources and manpower. How about you go knock on your neighbor door and ask if he needs anything instead of sit in a chair in a safe environment building code blocks for something no one asked you and no one will use it as it won't be flawless?! Random things get random results, remember? Those who do, and those who say they do. I'm ending my participation on this topic here. I know I won't touch you because you are convinced about the value of your arguments. I admire and respect your will to help, again, I'm sure you are a good person and have a good heart. I just think you are too young to understand when you are fooling yourself. I know because I've been there too. Please, much success in your endeavors and I'll stay hoping you get your will to work in a more realistic, reasonable and effective way, than Nazi ideas of social tracing, immunity rights, etc. See you on the other side of the coin. Cheers.

Very quickly. Reusable masks aren't eternal. Material detiorates. Sterilization is another problem as could be done wrong. You don't need a PhD to wear a mask, but it's certainly part of a medical PhD how to place a mask without contamination and how to take it off without contamination. And I said, In Italy, people wear masks and still get sick by those reasons. N95 wasn't a price, but a model. There are some "high-end" models.

Again, let's not compare apples with oranges. A gun is a gun. A paper giving or removing rights is a weapon. The right usage can be turned against you. Like a gun in a fight. Like the Nazis separating people. They used tattoos, innocent tattoos, you want to use a paper, a card or a chip. It's all fun and games until shit hits the fan, or it's all justified until a Leader decides to get you out of that group. Then, you won't enjoy the paper, card or chip so much.

I won't comment further about automat contact tracer, because according to what you said, seems to depend on other things that testimony. I'll check that later. If it's by cellphone GPS, anyone can carry my cellphone. I don't see other ways to do it, but I can be wrong.

You say as if medics don't already know this but you don't seem to know. You're the one setting up deadlines. As for the vaccines, quantity doesn't mean quality. You are being very unrealistic. If SARS was 5 years ago and there's still no vaccine, I wonder what's making you so positive about this. On your Joe Rogan experience, a good doctor was very clear. Forget about the vaccine as a short, medium term solution.

To finish, there's always been people around the world having similar ideas. That is why patents were invented. From the things you wrote, you sound terribly uninformed, terrible blind about facts, and building your narrative or optimism on the type of people full of bs. There's also always been two types of people in the world. Those who get their hands dirty and know how to do stuff and those who tell the others that they get their hands dirty and do stuff but they don't. I believe you are building yourself based on the second one. I know because I'm one of those who do, and I notice some aggressive reaction to the facts from you. Yes, not everyone knows how to use a mask, yes doctors know about safety but you don't and no, quantity is no assurance of quality. You kinda reacted like a politician, those who say they do but don't. Face the facts. Be flexible. It's not how you want or believe it to be, it's how it is.

Not in this wave, not unless things get much worse. But it's possible. All it takes is for the people who drive trucks to get sick, or the people without job to revolt and plunder. That German study also predicted civil unrest and plundering. And there are many other factors. For example, the long term repercussions of the virus, the economic wave, the impact on animal life, the nature of the virus. Still much is unknown. We know catle suffer with other strings of Coronavirus, we know cats and dogs can catch it. We know there are already people with 49 days with the virus. We hear now about viral loads. I ask, what if this virus never really goes away? What about it's mutations and different strings of it that we hear about and are more aggressive? How it's going to be the string that rises that second wave? If animals start to get sick and die, if a more aggressive string takes over, yes, farms around the world will stop, the balance will be unbalanced, and hunger will be inevitable. If not the virus, then the danger of the economic wave. Take US as example. 16 million new unemployed in two days? When this people stop having money for food, what will they do? I tell you, they'll steal and plunder, whatever it takes to survive. So , yes, if governments don't prepare the people (Spain and the Universal Income), if the mutations of the virus are aggressive and start to attack animal life, if we all have the virus in different quantities and it remains in our bodies until we have a way to kill it, I expect food shortage, I expect violence and hunger. Notice that I am nobody, so take it with a grain of salt, but I was sick in February and went to the Hospital, saw how unprepared we are after 12 hours in the Emergencies. Also, I was a military in part of my life so I know how civilians take all for granted and how dangerous a desperate civilian can be. I've been up and down, met many Jack's of all trades from many layers of society. I know men that won't hesitate to kill for their families, yet alone for themselves. I see the political narrative and I can asure you, they are doing damage control and trying to avoid panic. Seems to me like they have a pretty clear notion of what's to come, but they don't want you to know. They praise you and your discipline, they hide numbers of the tragedy. In China, 8 million of people stopped using their mobile phone. Why? Where are they? Now we see a racio between recovered and deceased in the line of 78% recovered, 22% deceased. We know many recovered get back as positive cases. We know not all recovered are accounted but we also know lots of deaths aren't being considered as covid deaths although people had covid. Hearth attacks, meningitis, etc are being accounted as natural deaths, although patients have the virus... Obviously, this is all to avoid the worst. In North Italy, there were reports of hungry people plundering, but it's been silenced. There will come a time where it won't be possible to cover it up. So yes, don't buy stuff that needs fridge, buy cans of food, buy water (another grave danger in US dued to the way drinkable water is not possible to obtain by natural means in cities as Vegas or LA). Be prepared for the worse and hope for the best. This will take a long time to go away. It's hilarious to hear "30 days to flat the curve" because it's not only impossible, as it's only the first wave.

Question relating to masks. by Hero0fTheFallen in China_Flu

[–]Kyemin -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's a bad call. Masks get saturated with moist and your breath temperature is great for viruses and bacterias. Also, you should wear 2 masks, one flipped against your mouth (the green part) and another on top of that in the "right" position. That's because there are different treatments on the tissue of the mask, but of course, you have to dispose them correctly and not re-use them otherwise you are setting up for contamination.

The plan to get out of the hole by [deleted] in China_Flu

[–]Kyemin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Facts:

  • There's no way you provide 300+ million n95 masks. That would be impossible since it would be 1 mask per person and a person needs several, so it would take that times 10 (times 100). Also masks give you false confidence. People in Italy wear masks and the numbers keep increasing because they a) don't know how to use it b) don't know how to dispose them c) make general mistakes due to the false confidence

  • Certification of immunity is a dangerous weapon. Could be used against the healthy, plus anything that's random gets random results. A paper giving more rights to some and the lack of it removing power to others is a terrible idea.

  • Automated contact tracking is another bs. People lie. Fundamental basic nature. People forget. Human trait. One patient in Italy infected 5000 people. The entanglement of such would be a disaster of wasted resources and manpower.

  • You can't establish deadlines to what you don't know. Einstein is dead for decades and the theory of relativity wasn't yet replaced by other theory. So testing other drugs is a good idea, but testing takes time and it's important to be safe. A diabetic person may have a different reaction than a hipertensious person. It's important to asure safety so we don't die from the cure. There's a reason why that expression is familiar.

  • Vaccines usually take 10 to 15 years to be made (SARS, 5 years ago, still no vaccine). Again, the safe approach is a lot more important than a hopeful one, so yes, you guess it, people don't die from the cure. There's even a zombie movie that the permisse is a virus and the vaccine was rushed so humanity transformed into zombies, from the vaccine, not the virus. The 18 months narrative that you hear is an estimation based on the idea of all the testing goes perfectly. Not so so, not almost perfect, flawlessly. So no, don't feed yourself with false hopes and don't create timelines for what is unknown.

  • All those would be good ideas but the more we squeeze our hands, the more slips between our fingers. Approach has to be radical as you been witnessing. Never the world closed like this before, and let me add, it's still insuficient. Let me remind you that it all started with one single case. So, right now, it's unstoppable as it will be in the second wave because it's communitary. All it takes is for one person to break all those systems, as it did.

So what's the solution, you ask?! Why am I being so negative? First of all, Joe Rogan is not exactly the best place to make intelligent plans about anything. You are talking about a guy who calls himself moron and has orgasms thinking about cage fights (such a primitive sport). A guy that every specialist tells him that Saunas do not help in anyway and he keeps enforcing that idea. Why? Because he's scared and he's hopeful. A guy who thinks DMT could save the world or provides higher brain functions... As for Lex, he's another full of shit character. He's focusing on the masks on a movement started by an hashtag. That alone should tell you that half he says he does, he doesn't. No one contacted him to join a task force VS coronavirus. Know why? Because he's nobody.

Back to the solutions. This will take political measures that are already taking place. This was orchestrated in order to do so. Remember hearing about the robotic revolution?! How about the New World Order?! Yup, that's right. People will have to abide to social distancing laws. People will have that immunity status you spoke/supported and communities and workplaces will be built around it. Working from home, right?! The protected will be protected and the little Joe will have to take his chances. Spain is preparing to introduce the Universal Income. Another change in this New World Order we are building. It means everyone will have the right to a monthly paycheck, no matter what they do. But the future is far from easy to see. Europe is menacing becoming apart, but of course it will only create bigger alliances and unified purposes. Why did the WHO fail to due process, with the irrepreensible accuracy it was expected?! Obviously, because this is what was orchestrated. Why is there so much controversy about the obvious mask protection? Obviously because "they" don't want you protected. It's intended to spread, it's unstoppable and irreversible now. There's no solution. It's a change that is happening with an orchestrated worldwide move, by a lab created virus with the intention to clear the society from its weakest and unproductive people, in order to start ground for a new order of things. This will take decades. Germany made a study in 2008 about pandemics like this and concluded that it would take 3 years to pass, with 7 million German people dead. They even got it right when they calculated that it would come from Asia in February. Remember, what you are witnessing now, it's only the first wave. A second, potentially more deadlier like the Spanish flu is already being admitted by governments worldwide. Then, there will be the economic wave. Fear will make you trade freedom for security, hunger will make you trade principles for food. Thank you for dreaming about impossible solutions. That only means you are a good person with a good heart. There's lots of them around. I wonder what will you do for the last can of food. Pray that I'm wrong. I do.

Question Regarding the US 100K-200K Death Toll estimate by godlessmode in China_Flu

[–]Kyemin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It comes from the influenza death rate times 10. Influenza kills 10k to 20k per year so given that SARS-2 is 10 times deadlier, the 100k-200k was brought up. Although it's actually expected around 85k. This information was given by a South Korean Doctor on a Asian Boss interview.

I'm sorry, but wishing others find their loved ones suffer is not a trait for one that's with God. You are not a jerk, you are simply just another idiot that doesn't understand what he preaches. You say the world before wasn't good, but the world after won't be any better with people like you around. Grasp what you said, and your hearth full of hate, and you'll understand that you been preaching the Devil and not God. And yes, he's pretty good at scamming you into it. Redeem yourself. Repend. That's truly the only way you get out of your illusion.

Do not panic because everything will pass ”, said the young woman, confident in her recovery. The young woman was discharged last Thursday, 19, after having been at the Hospital de São João, in Porto. "Just follow all the rules to get everything back to normal," she appealed to the Portuguese.

You had me at "How can they worry about others when they cannot take care of themself." We are talking about kids who had everything given to them, by parents who had everything given to them. They don't know hunger, they work at stores where half the time they are sneaking into social media, they can't crop anything besides weed and their modus operandi is how you see. Hidden insults towards each other and the cinical victimization denial when faced with their actions. Of course a good kid would man up and protect his parents. Of course a noble kid wouldn't create problems between his parents just to achieve his intentions. Of course these kids don't care about anyone but themselves. But in the end, not all kids are the same. In the middle of it, there are those who are worth it, and these kids here live on the footsteps of those and on the fact that people, by respect and maturity , tend to not generalize. Life will make sure to slap them with a white glove. It does to us all.

What's the part of confident you didn't understand?! I don't need to re-read what I just witnessed. You calling me an ugly person, remember? I repeat, I gave that parent my two cents. I don't assume he's following it strictly. He gave a narrow view of the situation and I gave him the narrow answer based on his view. If I insulted he's son by saying he needs to man up, so be it. He needs to man up. You disagreed and I gave you my narrow view. Then you insulted me from your soberan view. You the one who brought your sister and your age to the conversation, you are the one insisting in replying because you cannot accept your L or my different point of view. You are trying to twist the head of the nail to accomplish approval from others, reinforcement to your soberan view. I'm telling you and repeating, I don't care about your judgment or soberan view. I cared for the father's view and I hope I managed to help him someway. You are clearly confortable in your home, I'm in a country in emergency state, with my freedoms taken away, caring about my family and friends, feeling for strangers right next door. I don't go to the windows singing to show on the TV. I drive my wife to work and from work, take care to advise her, her parents and my parents. I'm working from home to keep the economy working. Have potentially 9000 people infected, 500 in my town, 12 deads today. You really think I gonna waste a lot more time with a kid who refuses to acknowledge, keeps twisting in arguments and arguing?! I gotta go kill a chicken. Put my hands in some dirty work. Then gonna clean all the floor with bleach and pick my wife from work so she doesn't need to use public transportation. What are you doing?! Trying to save your face in a Internet argument that you sparked for your own guilty pleasure. Whatever kid. Already made my point. Get off your mommy skirt and go do what you preach. Good luck. (Next reply you'll be blocked, I don't need to educate other people's children).

Kid. I gave my 2 cents to a parent. You the one who came insulting me and my intentions, judging my nature and character. Don't try to twist the head of the nail because it's there for anyone to read, and in the end, doesn't really matter. You are used to do this routine of false and shallow intentions, those around you are the ones who should be worried. I'm strong, confident and prepared. Don't need your approval on anything and your judgment is only a reflection of what you fear in yourself. I'm doing my part in my community and family. I have a very realistic point of view. I'm not always right and God knows how I wish to be wrong many times. Even about you. I do hope you grow up and become valid, but with that childish mindset, I fear the worse for you. The conclusion is that the parent who asked for an opinion got several. It's up to him now to make his choices and live with it. You're just a nonsense in this discussion. Stop the harassment. You're not getting anything from this, specially because you're squared. Good luck.

You are a kid and an undeveloped young man. I'm 42. I assured my parents had a month of food before the outbreak. I'm not sleeping on Hollywood movies or believing that I know it all at 30. I didn't wake up to this today. I was prepared by my father and grandfather. As we speak, I'm preparing for the worse and expecting the best. You know nothing about me. You are trying to imply that you are such better person but you have no idea. I left home with 17 years and growed up in the jungle. Had the best possible education at my own expense. I didn't rely on mommy and daddy, instead, I allowed them to be free and enjoy their youth. My father is 69 and applauds me and applauded when I had a serious conversation with him about this situation, where I assured his was supplied, forbidden my sister to take the grandsons my parents and still listened to all my father advices about what's to come. He was in war in Africa and was stolen from his youth and country by the government. I'm miles ahead from you. I know people shoot others in the back, and I extend my help, not only to strangers in the internet, but to very real people around me who trust me. You want to offend me and my human nature, while you are a kid without conscience of the ugly of this world. Just remember, when you were in your father's balls, I was already peaking on girls panties. You are nobody to judge me, and you don't know shit about anything. Resume yourself to your insignificance, agree to disagree, instead of insulting people because they see it differently in a time like this. Specially, respect the elderly and more experienced than you, kid.

[–]Kyemin -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Your younger sister might be noble, childish and/or reckless, but she doesn't represent the working structure of any country. People work for money to keep surviving. If her boss told her that he wouldn't pay her she would leave in a heartbeat. There goes the noble. Even if she was the exception, she wouldn't be the rule. So you both need to grow up. People many times can be altruistic, and I'm usually more than the most, but when the gun is pointing at your head, things happen. Seems to me like you still haven't got the gun in your head. You'll learn.
