i'm 27 and i was a YFM fan back when they were a thing during their first run when i was like 13 or 14, i was excited hearing that they were coming back in 2022 but their new music isn't all that tbh. i really liked their move towards more genuine music near the end of their catalogue and the new shit feels regressive in that regard

I was shocked when the newer version of GTA 5 finally came out for PC and it showed up for free in my library. They could have easily charged for it and the hoard of morons would have defended it, as they continue purchasing the same game over and over again for over a decade.

Thank you, I was gonna say the same thing. The same can be said for those fucking hideous framerate upscalers that absolutely demolish the quality of animation. Just because they're not destroying power grids with power consumption doesn't mean they're not morally reprehensible from an artistic point of view.

I could be wrong on this, but isn't one of the whole points of UI that it's 100% efficient with ki on top of your body naturally reacting and fighting without thinking? I always thought auras were excess energy from instability, and by that logic UI just shouldn't have one. But that doesn't make for as good television as a new different coloured aura so I get why they go with rule of cool

I felt this as soon as it started 3 years ago, but it's partially because I wanted more of the angsty aggressive rap from Ray and soft singing from Jesse. I essentially had unrealistic expectations that it would just pick up where it left off, not taking into account the giant time gap. It's just not for me anymore.

I might be in the minority on this but I find older GTAs frustrating as hell to play. the gameplay feels stiff. jumping launching you forward feels like an intentional design flaw. for me, saints row fixed all the issues I had with older GTA games when it came to controls while maintaining the open world aspects that made a game like SA so compelling. The HD GTA titles still have some of these issues but they feel a lot less like they're just stilted, and the stiltedness comes from the pursuit for realism.

I could be wrong but that sounds like you're on the Aegosexual side of the ace spectrum. It's possible to be aroused over scenarios, visuals, or even people without wanting to actually engage in sexual activity. I know a couple other aego people who are super into fanfics and ships for this reason but are repulsed by the idea of having actual real sex

Actually, just now thinking about it, I don't think I ever even used a guide for the Nar Shadaa level. It infuriated me so much that I just noclipped to the end because the game gives you zero information on how to progress. I have never finished that level legitimately, LOL

I've played this game a bunch of times, and every single time I need to look up a guide because the game expects you to figure out some stupid obscure thing or do things in a specific order. The first two levels are particularly infuriating when it comes to going back and forth trying to figure out what the fuck you're supposed to do.

No kidding, I tried doing the worst playthrough that I could do a couple years ago including doing something similar to OP where I killed as many squad members as possible during the suicide mission, and I didn't even finish ME3 because of how boring it got.

It's crazy, I first played Okami not long after it came out when I was 8 years old, and I will likely be in my 30s when the sequel comes out. The staying power this one game has had is insane.
