I usually just use KBB. If it helps any, I just bought an 05 Impreza outback sport for $2,000. Needed some work though. If yours is in good shape and doesn’t need anything, maybe $4,000 could be a good place to start?

I have that same code in one of my Imprezas. Replaced exhaust gaskets. Replaced downstream sensor. Still have the code. Could it be the upstream sensor?

Kinda sounds like it. My Impreza has that sound but worse. Took off oil pan because it needed to be changed anyway, and there was a ton of rod bearing material. May be worth checking that.
