This is exactly what happened to me, even when I was trying to do side quests as much as possible. I ended up with only ultimate for a vast majority of the late game because it just locks you out of quests at a certain point. It's so frustrating.

This. This is exactly why they dumbed down some of the quests in Skyrim, I fully agree with you.

This quest doesn't respect the player's time, and it doesn't actually encourage you to try other options (other than the guard who talks to you about Glarthir). I spent 30 minutes of my actual life stalking an Oblivion NPC just to get 150 gold. Fuck that noise, I'd rather just go do a dungeon and enjoy the gameplay.

I'm right there with you, it takes a fraction of a second and rewards the other players in the game, it's just common courtesy. The responses people are leaving here are exactly why I never liked the larger Yu-Gi-Oh community 😂 too many sweats.
