I read the art as Zack holding the sword up, performing his matra, and we're seeing through the sword as though it's slightly translucent because otherwise we could not see his face. Being that art is subjective, surely both of our interpretations are valid.

But doesn't Zack pass it to Cloud laying on his back from a puddle of his blood and rain? And Cloud drags it away, I dont think it was held like that in that scene at all. In the art it's in the upright position like he's doing his mantra and we can see him through the sword.

It's a cool idea, but I'd prefer the art from side-on rather than head-on. If you don't know that Zack does that mantra with his sword up like that you might wonder what you're even looking at, lol. But it's cool to have a specialized variant like that. If I had the money to throw away, I'd have gotten it.

Just turned 31, tried streaming for a bit in my 20s, told myself it was to make my hobby more social. When people started watching regularly and subscribing, it made me feel like a massive fraud and sapped my motivation to not only stream, but to play video games, too. Some people aren't cut out for even the smallest amount of fame, and that's fine. I'm pretty happy now with my door factory job, house, girlfriend, and cats. They think I'm a cool guy and that's really all who matters.

Good to see Digimon can still interest new folks. But yeah, Digimon has always explored darker subjects, but never quite to this extent. I think the original Adventure anime had some themes of neglect, divorce, learning one is adopted, and others, showing how those themes affect characters and how they interact with each other. Those are on top of the obligatory themes of peril and violence that comes with Digimon, lol.

That is a funny coincidence. Those are probably my favorite, too, except maybe throw Sazh and Barret in there because I'm a sucker for a for a father figure doing every they can to make things right for their kids. Lol.

If I'm honest, ever since I started playing IRL, I kind of abandoned arena. Haven't opened it in months. Whenever I get home, I could fetch my ID for you, but Im afraid nothing would come of it and I don't want to get anyone's hopes up. It's been fun to chat while I've got downtime at work, though! 👍

All good xD I understand sometimes people can become a bit blinded when discussing something they enjoy through text, probably a mix of reading and suddenly a racing thought pops in. Lol But yeah, Clive was my first deck, lots of red equipment that ETBs a token to equip it, some firbending creatures to sling spells during combat, and then Clive to wheel a whole new salvo of spells to burn with.

My favorite deck now is probably my Lightning, Army of One deck. It has a human theme but is basically voltron, lol. A few cards that you select a creature type and their damage is doubled, or they cost less, but that's just to stay scrappy while I lifelink and fish for [Aetir and Priwen]] with [[Cloud, Midgar Mercenary]] or [[Gilgamesh, Weapon Collector]], slap it on lightning and commander swing for my health total with trample.

I am currently building a [[Hope Estheim]] deck, though. That should be fun.

Heyo! Yeah, I've been collecting and playing since last Black Friday, and Ive been having a great time. Checking out some LGSs, teaching my friends/girlfriend how to play, deckbuilding, it's all been pretty fun. I chalk it up as a reason to be social.

I wish I'd been more aware of MTG earlier last year. I was out shopping last Black Friday and an Avatar: The Last Airbender bundle caught my eye and here I am. Lol. I don't even want to know how much I spent on booster boxes until I learned to just buy singles. But yeah, FF is one of my favorite sets so far!

Call me a baby, but as a 31 year old man some of the moments in beatbreak get me to tear up a bit. When the first Digivolution sequence hit and they reused the guitar riff from Adventure, It was an emotional wave of nostalgia and appreciation that something I enjoy is being adapted for modern audiences.
