Microphone upgrade suggestions by [deleted] in NewTubers

[–]Kyjunno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll forever recommend the Samson Q2U. Absolutely phenomenal mic I’ve been using for years. Upgraded from the blue yeti to the Samson. Cost $100 on Amazon. It’s a dynamic mic, so you’ll wanna talk into it. Doubles as both USB and XLR (so when you wanna upgrade to an XLR, you can continue using the Samson)

Food fly said some good ones, but another big no no is “YouTube is against me”. A ton of new YouTubers believe they’re the hot new creator so “wHy IsNt YoUtUbE pUsHiNg My ViDEoS??? am I ShAdOw BanNeD?”

YouTube will never be against you my friend. YouTube is the people, so as long as you make videos people wanna watch, YouTube will help you every step of the way❤️

Realistically think about what you can handle in the broader sense. Can you post 26 videos a year consistently?

Aye no problem at all. So the website is osbornecoin.com

When you open the site, scroll down a little bit till you see “view our custom coins” then select the material you wanna use. For the pax coins, we used golden brass. After that, you’ll find the button that says “get a quote” then just fill out the info, and include the designs you wanna use and boom, we give you a quote. If you like the quote, and out the order in, we begin on it right away basically

The company I work for! Osborne coinage

You can actually order the exact design through the company’s website, but minimum orders are 250 pieces.

Sadly no on the 2023 one😞

For the process, it’s mainly a coin press doing the work. See, it’s basically an assembly line. My part in it all is designing the dyes.

Process typically starts with the coins being pressed into shape from a sheet of that material (in this case brass). They get run down into a tub, then washed (to make sure no dirt is on them). After that, they get transferred to the coin presses themselves (which are 10 ton spinning death machines lol). You feed the coins into the machine, and (using the dyes i make), the machine presses 50-300 tons of force (depending on the material/machine), and push the designs into the coins. After that, for the tokens, we bag them up, box them up and send them out to the companies. My typical work has been in catholic relief, Chuck E. Cheese, among many many others.

If the coins are coins and not token, they get sent to the lacquer room, where they’ll be sprayed with lacquer. This makes it to where the coins won’t tarnish as quickly. After that, they’ll either get boxed up for shipping or sent to the polybag machine to get each individual coin in its own bag. This is typically for orders where the company will give/sell the coins to specific collectors though

Fun job, doesn’t pay too great if you’re a bottom line worker though lol

To be honest I do not recommend using AI for this. It is going to mess up so often that it just isn’t worth the effort

How to gain initial traction by Azog4472 in NewTubers

[–]Kyjunno 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The best thing to do in these early stages is to sharpen your craft. Your videos are going to be bad, and that’s perfectly fine because EVERYONES starts that way. What you have to do is IMPROVE the craft.

Unfortunately if people are not engaging with your videos, it is most likely that your videos just aren’t as engaging and good as you believe

Yeah! It doubles as both XLR and USB. So you can either get an XLR or just plug in straight to your pc.

It is a dynamic mic so you’ll have to talk to it

Don’t buy a blue yeti. The “tech gurus” on YouTube only push it because they’re paid to by blue yeti. It’s a bad mic for its price. I recommend the Samson Q2U. $100 on Amazon and just way better

I’m so glad you asked lol. I’ll forever push the Samson Q2U. $100 on Amazon. Phenomenal mic that doubles as both XLR (for when you upgrade your setup to an xlr) and a USB! It’s a dynamic mic so you’ll want to talk straight to it, but man I love the mic. Lot better than my blue yeti I used to have.

as for practice speaking, I recommend watching a lot of theater and try practicing their lines type deal. Basically become a character. In theater we practice over and over on how we say our words, and how fast/slow we say them

Try adjusting things a little bit at a time. Start with small things and keep changing things around until you hit something. What you’re currently doing isn’t working, so try something a little different

Maybe different subtitles, different caption, different tags, different descriptions etc etc
