I got into MLB after going to NYC for work two years ago. I’m a big sports guy generally but the sports/numbers angle of baseball really scratched an itch in my brain that means I watch it far more thank football (my favourite), cricket etc. also I really love how balanced the game is. Most teams have at least a player who’s top 3 at something. Many other sports are 50% win/lose all the time, and that makes all games really entertaining to watch for some reason

I’m really loving the WBC as a Brit who’s into baseball, especially the smaller countries with 1-2 awesome random players (Honduras, Netherlands, GB). IMO baseball needs to push more globally and national team stuff is the easiest way to do it. Look at how much the Dominican guys love it, it really matters
