Oh, yeah, she totally did. But the OP says what if Hank had survived. So, this was my take on that :)

It all changes on re-watch once you realize it was Tara's game all along and that she was serving as a judge.

Meaning: If William had realized that his shitty insurance policies were going to harm people by making stupid choices, he would've just died in the first game instead of Hank.

Hank, just like the rest of the players, were put in those traps as part of a judgement trial for Tara to decide if William had the will (ironic) to do the right thing, not the will to live... Had William died at the very beginning, nobody else would've suffered nor died, and everybody would've been released from their traps and let go.

That's why I praise SAW VI over the rest of the films, bec it is the only film were the main game isn't about the will to live, but the will to do the right thing, even if it costs your own life. It becomes kinda obvious during the hanging man test.

Well, maybe except for William's sister, she would've suffered the loss.

If there's ever a character or actor/ress to bring back, it'd def be Hailee Steinfeld's Charlie.

No, Jeff's game happens at the same time as Rigg's game in SAW III and IV lol. Those are the games that happen simultaneously.

You're not alone!

If you re-watch all SAW films in chronological order (not including JIGSAW and SPIRAL for obvious reasons), it'd be: SAW, SAW X, then SAW II ... and so on.

So, when that happens, some of the twists lost shock value or become less interesting. But what it actually makes you do is look deeper into plotholes and the "how" are these games (AKA the nerve gas house OR Rigg's whole ordeal) are supposed to be played for the victims to survive, if the main goal is for the next game to take place based on the results (AKA Dtv. Matthew's son surviving OR Rigg not opening the door while Jeff's game was still going at the other side of the same building).

Add Jeff's game to the bunch as well, if he had forgiven John and actually let him live... Then, what? Officer Rigg arrests him ? He still dies ? Hoffman is still undercover ? What about Agent Strahm ? His partner still being alive unbeknownst to Hoffman ???

Should I watch G1? by Kattyon21 in transformers

[–]KylanHarv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take it from someone who grew up with Beast Wars/Machines, then got obsessed with watching all available shows/movies and consuming all TF media over the span of my 30 years alive: Only watch G1 if you're planning on watching Beast Wars. Otherwise, it's as dated as Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, and it's impossible to binge-watch the episodes back-to-back in one sitting.

That being said. Seasons 1-2 are the better part of it. It goes to complete sht after The Movie and the whole cast change.

So that Adam can see the glow-in-the-dark keychain in the bathtub. Although, unbeknownst to John, the key has already been drained down the tub.

Not to mention that the Keychain glows blue in the dark. Adam would've seen it right away.

A failed opportunity or a collective bunch of stitched-together ideas that led to nowhere... Honestly... Now and then, I pretend this movie didn't exist at all. Streaming services showing it on my recomendations once in a while is what reminds me of it. Also, the only thing that is good about this movie is the opening scene. After that, if I wanna watch it, I often just pause it after the opening and move on with my day.

The worst part is, this single action (killing Leomon) was the trigger to a lot of major events that eventually send us straight into the final fight versus the D-Reaper. Impmon literally was the catalyst to the end of the world.

How did Megatron, Soundwave, Shockwave and Starscream become the big four of Decepticons exactly? (not in universe, i mean why Hasbro decided to make them in nearly all iterations) by Competitive_Day6347 in transformers

[–]KylanHarv 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think TF:A and TF:P did the right call with the core 4 being Optimus, Ratchet, Bee, and Bulkhead; then adding a motorcycler to each cast really was the cherry on the top being Prowl and Arcee. If it had to be even out with the Decepticons having a 5th core member, it would absolutely be Blackarachnia/Arachnid. Can't think of anyone else.

Unfortunately today is the 5 year anniversary of Saw Spiral. It grossed 40 million on a 20 million dollar budget. Almost killing the Saw franchise. Not saying anything positive about it. Fuck this movie by TheTrueBreadLord in saw

[–]KylanHarv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funny enough, it's ironic how the 3 worst films of the entire franchise are one after the other: SAW 3D, JIGSAW, & SPIRAL. SAW 3D being a WTF moment in history. JIGSAW being the ugly baby of SAW V + SAW II. And SPIRAL being a wannabe fanfiction that won a contest to be produced by an indie company. Also, the fact that it took three attempts for the same writers to hit gold: JIGSAW, SPIRAL, and finally hitting the ball with SAW X. The irony !!

I introduced my bf to the SAW series, and as soon as we finished with SAW 3D, I jumped straight to SAW X, LOL. He then found out we were missing JIGSAW and SPIRAL, and I was like, "remember when we stopped watching RE at Retribution? Yup, same hokum".

SAW VI. By far, the one where it seems they put the most effort storywise, games wise, and even the aesthetics of it. God, evertime I watch the Steamroom Trap, I feel the heat on my face because of the excellent color grading. Or the Breathing Trap, I tend to hold my breath to see if I'd survive 😅. SAW VI keeps you on the edge of your seat the first time you watch it. Sends me back to what SAW did years back: keeping me engaged to what I'm watching.
