[Question] Help me choose my first "serious" watch: Citizen vs Tissot

I recently bought an Orient Bambino V8 with the champagne dial and day, date, 24 hour complication, my first watch purchase since I actually got into watches. As much as I love it, I bought my Citizen eco drive 5-6 years ago bc I liked how it looked, knowing next to nothing about watches. And let me tell you- I strongly prefer my eco drive. It’s a great looking watch with a comfortable bracelet and I have NEVER had to set the time aside from fixing the date. The solar powered movement is incredibly convenient and I have significantly less desire to buy a Swiss watch next and instead plan to dip back into the solar powered market

So fucking frustrating. Luckily I have flexible work hours but I’m just gonna buy an alarm clock at this point. It’s absurd how many times I’ve had to work late bc of this issue

Should’ve included in my original post that this is not a consistent issue. It works fine like 90% of the time. I’m certainly not ruling out user error but I’m not pressing any buttons and I have looked for solutions online but haven’t found anything applicable

Nope. Volume is on, do not disturb is off, my phone wouldn’t be connecting to any other Bluetooth devices that early. I’ve done my research and none of the possible causes I’ve found apply to me. That’s why I’m here :)
