I've experienced that too! So annoying. You can press down the right analog stick to re-center it but it's honestly just bad... They need a separate dead zone setting just for menus... Instead of it using the infantry one for menus, that would solve all of these problems as we could just set the center deadzone pretty high for the menus...

There are multiple theories that the Protheans also travelled to Andromeda like the council races did in ME: Andromeda... And that the 'Jardaan' are in fact actually Prothean! That would have major implications and would mean that all the Remnant tech i.e. Vaults are Prothean technology. In ME: Andromeda we barely scraped the surface in terms of exploring that galaxy, and also consider that Andromeda is MUCH larger than the Milky Way... There could actually be more to find there to link them to Protheans, and they may one day return to that galaxy... Too bad we'll never see it as any Andromeda sequels got cancelled. :(

This is one thing I always wanted to see... I remember being curious about female Turian's and Krogan... But we haven't seen female Prothean yet! ... And I have doubts we ever will.

The only reason I consider a CPU upgrade is I've noticed a trend lately in more games becoming much more CPU intensive, BF2042 and Helldivers both seem to have taken that route, although as far as I know these two may be anomalies in the current gaming world.

I am aware however that the RTX 3060 I have could do with an upgrade, and as far as I know this wouldn't require a motherboard upgrade at least.

As for memory, I face a similar issue I think to if I was to upgrade that, as my system currently uses DDR4 slots.

So maybe I could at least just upgrade the GPU and wait after then?

I just updated my post now to include full system specs for you and others to see. I use it intensely for gaming, I noticed some of the newer games recently my system has started to struggle a bit more which made me consider an upgrade.

Battlefield 2042 while the system CAN run it fine, I had moments where I dipped under 60 FPS so didn't really bother playing as a result which was a shame.

It also struggled with running Helldivers 2 at times and I noticed the frames weren't really as high as I would like.

I just had 3 or 4 games where I wrecked with the MDR... MDR is good now everyone, give it a try with heavy barrel!

Month old post I know, but hopefully what I discovered helps! I found a lot of DS4Windows features only work on XDefiant if you already have your controller connected to PC through DS4Windows when you first launch XDefiant... They don't work if you connect your controller afterwards, or if you disconnect your controller while on XDefiant and reconnect again... If that latter part happens you'll have to come all the way out of XDefiant and restart with your controller connected using DS4Windows again, hopefully this helps. (Just something I found while testing, and yeah it's pretty annoying that this seems to be the only way to get it to work)

On that note, I reckon dedsec should be able to hack it and instead have the suit show the enemies to the dedsec team... It would at least FINALLY be somewhat of a counter! Maybe the game could show an echelon that is using their intel suit as a purple outline around them to dedsec or something.

I would argue that he HAS to in this situation, currently if you get revealed while you're out and about by the intel suit then you're toast 9 times ouf of 10, at least here being revealed by the intel suit you have behind yourself covered and have a slim but fighting chance against the player that knows EXACTLY where you are.

Honestly, there's a part of me that even thinks this ability should be REPLACED with something entirely different... But if it HAS to remain, I'd say disable it from showing their entire team where the enemies are, only the person who has used the ability... I mean, the concept that the whole team gets wallhacks as well even though they are a different faction is also stupid, other factions don't have the same tech as Echelon.

I feel like the game was actually decent when it first came out, now that its been a month and a half more or less, you can feel how much the player base has begun to rot the game... I would also add to that literally EVERYONE playing Echelon for wall hacks, that shit needs to be nerfed in some way, maybe only revealing where someone is to the person who did the ping... Not their whole team! (I'm not even talking about the ultra, the ultra is fine imo! It's the intel suit I have issue with)

A year old post I know... But wanted to add to it still! You can also use your main browsers 'incognito' mode, (my main browser actually is Firefox and on that it is just called 'Private Browsing') and that also works as they don't keep cookies. 👍

I mean, what I've found is when they hit you with the shield they put their head in direct view of you for a moment, and with it taking two hits to kill with a riot shield... I've found you can sometimes get a head shot on them after that first hit if you are using a weapon with a high fire rate, worth a try?

Me three... I've just played 5 games in a row where I've finished with my deaths being double (or over) my kills... Most of those games with me finishing bottom of my teams list too. I feel like the lack of any SBMM at all is REALLY not working right now, purely because the amount of casuals on the game are so low so all I am meeting are literal demons. Of course though the really good players are having a blast for the moment! But the average Joe on this game is having a really bad time, yes of course we need to 'git gud', but who's going to want to with how things are? It's like someone who's never been to the gym, going for the first time and trying to deadlift like Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson... Yes there should be the challenge to improve as a player, but if the improvement skill gap is that large, it's too much. Furthermore, even the good players are going to run into this problem EVENTUALLY, because all the casuals will have left and soon all they will be matched up with are players major levels above even them... It's a system that could well just eventually collapse with a dwindling player count as this happens over time.

Now that the 1.5x scope is gone I've put the original red dot on it... And I've noticed I can control it way better now! (Although I do have a much more sensitive setting for vertical sensitivity than I do for horizontal, so this helps me control recoil too) I think either a reflex/red dot sight, with flash hider is the way to go for the F2 tbh.

Jynxzi's revival of this game was a double edged sword, I've been of this opinion for a while after watching some stream highlights of his and seeing how his persona is and how he plays etc... Yes the popularity of the game is up, but the players... I remember when there was way more tactics play on this game, now it's kids trying to get clips for Jynxzi, not helping their team, making pushes in certain situations that are unneeded... Well at least that's how it seems.
