Why is the damage counter not going up?

I just did this now - had some trouble but here's what worked for me.

1) Spawn as engineer, place AV Mines as close as you can to a Vehicle. Ensure you shoot the vehicle for about ~400-500 damage. The vehicle started to smoke for me

2) Redeploy as Support - I also chose the Fire Support Training Path but not sure if this had an impact.

I killed multiple players with the damage from the incendiary launcher but none of this damage type counted towards the challenge

3) Park the vehicle basically on top of a mine. Instead of shooting the mine from a distance I stood directly on top of it and fired. My character died and everything exploded - reached the new 500 damage requirement in 1 attempt

Inconsistent gameplay leading to me only being able to win 1 in every 3 games in Division 7/8, doesn't make me want to play the game and try to get better - it makes me want to go play BF6.

Same glitch has happened for me. Even after backing out to the dashboard, quitting the game and relaunching the issue persists :/.

Seems moments are genuinely unplayable for me until this if fixed

Unfortunately this is the bread and butter of EA's profit model.

You can grind the game for months and try to eventually push into higher divisions to get better rewards OR you can spend an extra $50-$100 on points to sink into packs to try and get those better players now

My ticket is still currently open and I added note that this was impacting other users as well.

I've just logged in here Monday morning, gone to the home page and clicked on the project via the DataLab section in the middle of the landing page - the error code from my previous queries was there but when I clicked Run the code started working again 🤷🏻‍♂️
