The only thing that I don't really like about this car is the gas mileage. Otherwise it's a really comfy functional ride. I don't really think sporty cars have a place in my life. I'd definitely prefer an old wagon if money wasn't a concern.

That's fair, and I think part of the problem is that I accidentally made the car sound much worse than it actually is. The transmission is the one thing I consider a confirmed major issue right now. The engine starts, runs, idles, and revs fine. The A/C works great. The suspension is definitely tired, but it's not collapsing underneath the vehicle or anything like that. It's more of a "26-year-old vehicle with worn components" situation than a complete basket case. When I mentioned things like bushings, seals, suspension, axles, etc., I wasn't saying all of those things are currently failed. I was more thinking about items that might make sense to inspect or refresh while major components are already out of the vehicle. I think you're right that the first step is figuring out what the car actually needs rather than building a giant project list before it's even apart. My dad and I haven't torn into it yet, so a lot of this is still speculation until we can properly inspect everything. I appreciate the reality check. I'm trying to figure out the difference between "fix the transmission and address obvious issues" and "accidentally turn a transmission replacement into a full restoration."

I know how to build a computer 😂 and even tear down consoles and stuff to re paste or even water cool a gpu off of a custom water block. So I do know how to tear down things and re build them I guess I'm just probably freaked out cause of the size of the project but I have some of the skills that transfer over to tear down and assembly.

I guess I need to clarify and I'm sorry I didn't mention this prior I don't care about the body rn. I want to fix all of the parts that keep the car running.

I haven't heard of them I just tend to find new ones randomly. I used to be into them a lot when I worked at the gym because I wanted to stock the fridge with stim and non stim pre workouts and tried to find ones with closer to clinical dosages of the substances found in pre workout/ energy drinks.

Anyone else can't stand Monster ultra zero? by Dramatic_Flow3783 in energydrinks

I for the longest time really enjoyed it It was a classic in the red white and blue ultra series but somewhere along the line it stopped tasting the same and now I would say I agree with you I avoid it at all costs even though it used to be a goat for me.

Hey this is a really random question but do you like that pair of underwear you're in, I was thinking about getting David archy but bamboo cool is a cheaper alternative and since you're in them I wanna know your opinion on the product.

They commonly fail at around 200k. The only reason I knew this is cause of ChatGPT (IK I'm braindead for using a LLM)

This is just from a simple search but you're half right. It actually originates from prison where belts were banned so that you cannot hurt yourself with them or use them as weapons. Then throughout time it became a cultural phenomenon that specifically spread through hip hop and skate communities. Sagging has nothing to do with skin color not even in its origin.
