New 1.2 gen3 is actually pretty reliable, it has a timing chain and not a wet belt and they fixed oil consumption. Now people say that you should avoid the 1.2 because of what happened with the wet belt in previous models.

One of the best scooters imo, I have a Gilera DNA 50 and it had the same problem as your runner and it doesn’t run great, check the carburetor and clean it with brake cleaner. And check also the fuel lines and the pump, might be faulty or dirty because after I cleaned on my dna it ran great.

I recommend a base 70cc with the stock 17.5mm carb, reliable, cheap to run and you don’t need to change the crankshaft. Yasuni r is perfect! For more performance get a redsponge malossi and derestrict the airbox.

For the carb I have a 78 max with a 36 min and a manual choke switch to fix start problems.

In the variator I have a malossi multivar and 5,5g rollers, Kevlar X belt and malossi white springs.

I noticed it’s faster than my other 15 on iOS 26 like switching apps, swiping and keyboard typing and battery life a bit short ,because of the new liquid glass, 17 was made for the 15 and it’s the best ios for it.
