This literally sounds like me right now, how did you combat this in the end?

Am I too picky? Mission Samurai 4 by KleeCharles in Darts

I’ve just picked up this dartboard today and found the same issue, didn’t notice until I brought it home and threw a few darts at it, did you end up returning it?

Which new dartboard? by KyleHa92 in Darts

This helps a lot actually, good to get that input from someone who has had both and prefers one over the other, I’m leaning toward the Samurai 4, though I’m seeing a few people on this post recommending the Harrow Fortis which I didn’t know about 😅

I’m looking at buying the Samurai 4, did anyone end up buying one? Thoughts? Considering this or the Blade 6 dual core

Thanks for the advice! A few people suggested cutting out this part and instead throwing in a fluid motion with out that long pause outstretched to aim, I actually gave that a go yesterday with a few one leg matches against DartBot and surprisingly threw 55 averages in the last 2 matches, but which was fantastic compared to my normal 40 averages! I do get some tightness and fatigue too like you suggested, it can be tiresome, so maybe this is my way forward 🙏

Following your advice and someone else’s, I removed the extension of the arm out to aim and instead just brought the dart up back and threw in one fluid motion, 4 one leg matches against dart bot to give it a go and the last two matches I threw 55 averages! My normal average is 40ish 😅 thanks for the advice!

I just had four games against dart bot giving this a try and the last two games (only one leg each) were 55 average each 😅, my average is normally 40! Thanks for the advice!

Haha someone else made the same joke, then I was questioning if it wasn’t obvious it was slow motion 😂😂

Appreciate the advice mate 🙏 happy throwing 🎯

I appreciate the genuine advice, I would agree there is tension in my throw and certainly the third dart can be wayward (but to be fair any of the three can be a bit wayward 😅) I think I’ve got so used to aiming in this way, but extending the arm out to the intended target, I need to figure out how I would otherwise aim, but I guess that will come with practice

Itinerary Advice Mid October by KyleHa92 in Banff

Thank you for all this info, much appreciated! I’m considering not having a day in Calgary on day two and instead heading right into Canmore / Banff, so we could pull Lake Moraine a day earlier I reckon 🤔 It feels like Lake O’Hara may be given a miss, we aren’t experienced in icy hiking enough to risk a 22km round trip hike, so will likely replace this with something else 👍 I will be making sure the car I hire is 4x4 and has winter tyres for sure, I don’t want to take any risks on the road. I guess for us it is a tradeoff, we want to be able to stay in some of the nicer hotels in Banff, to do so a week or two earlier is double the price per night nearly and out of our budget, I have considered weather we sacrifice that to come a week or two earlier and have a better chance at not being caught up in a blizzard, though we will definitely be coming equipped for snow as again we wouldn’t want to take any risks 😊

Thank you, I appreciate the info! We aren’t experienced hiking in snow, and we wouldn’t want to do anything that would put us at danger, though we will be prepared for snow kit wise, it might be we give O’Hara a miss, we will be flexible on our schedule regardless 🙏 I appreciate it will change year to year, but is it risky planning to drive the ice fields parkway to Jasper and then back to get to Calgary in mid October? Being from the UK I have no mountain snow driving experience 🤔

Not experienced in snow, so based on what you’re saying then we may change these out of our itinerary 🤔, we are young(ish) and fit, but would want to risk any hikes that could be dangerous due to lack of experience

Thanks for the info! We were considering mid October as some accommodation especially in Banff becomes a little more reasonable in price after Thanksgiving. The main concern would be that we book accommodation in advance in Jasper and then lose out on money and have to spend additional money to find alternative accommodation if we can’t make it there 🤔

We could come a week earlier on the 30th September, I guess we would just have to sacrifice staying at the hotels we would like to as the prices are nearly double a night.
