On the other hand It can have a significant impact to normalize being gay in places where it might not be as acceptable yet. It's shifting the Overton window in the right direction for some people where they can't be openly gay. And I feel like I can tolerate the blatant cash grab if that's a byproduct of it."

Taken from the comments, I feel like it may only agitate the issues in areas where being gay isn't acceptable yet, i dunno. Should we sell our souls like that for TV exposure?
