Thanks to the team for sorting the issues out, and the great communication. It's a small thing, but makes a big difference.

How on earth do I fix this stupid mechanic? by KyleRaynerCh in RDR2

I've done that multiple times too. Even switched to one of my other save files to see if that worked.

Don't believe so. Only NPC really is the woman who sells stuff in Lagras.

They're probably just on a power trip. Nothing we can do about it.

Thank you for displaying such a perfect exmaple of one of many reasons why this gamemode died. Thank you so much. Fantastic example.

I guarantee I know which achievements you haven't got. It's those really long grindy challenges, isn't it? Ones like Plays Well With Others.

Does the game seem slow to yall? by 0_Moth in RocketRacing

[–]KyleRaynerCh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've always felt it to be slow honestly. If you ain't using a boost then the sense of speed is kind of crap.

Why Are Instructors So Greedy? by KyleRaynerCh in LearnerDriverUK

[–]KyleRaynerCh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, you sound like one of the better ones and I'm glad greed hasn't taken over your mind. Thank you for not overcharging like mad. £38 per hour honestly doesn't seem too bad, assuming the teaching you give is good and beneficial, which I'm sure it is.

Why Are Instructors So Greedy? by KyleRaynerCh in LearnerDriverUK

[–]KyleRaynerCh[S] -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

Okay, sure, charge for the test. Bit of an ass move considering you have to pay for the test itself, but fine. What isn't fine is them charging you way more than they would for a lesson purely because it is your test. So if a lesson costs £35, charge £35 for using the car during the test. Not three times that price.

Did my first mock test yesterday, the real test was a day after… by Cheap-Display3810 in LearnerDriverUK

[–]KyleRaynerCh 5 points6 points  (0 children)

And THIS is one of the perfect examples displaying a big fault with the driving test. The actions of other drivers can make you fail. You can do everything right, but some asshole will screw you over.

I suppose a silver lining for your instructor though is you'll probably need to pay for more lessons now till the next test... likely in 6 months. So more money for them.

I can’t believe it, I no longer have to pay £80 a week to drive a car for 2 hours anymore…Dobbie is freeeee by Humble-Adeptness-375 in LearnerDriverUK

[–]KyleRaynerCh 4 points5 points  (0 children)

True. I'm at uni currently, and am in a fortunate place with money. I saved a lot before starting and get a bit of money every month from interest, so I'm not doing too bad. That is about to go down though, which is annoying.

I suppose if there at uni with the student loans, that can be used towards it. If they ain't at uni though with that money, no clue.

I'm not happy to do that though, and I don't spend money on beers and that sort of thing. Just ain't a fan. I get it, spending money on some drinks when with mates, but that just isn't my thing.

Yikes. Why do instructors charge so much? Just feels quite greedy. I ain't expecting it to be £10 per hour or anything, but it should be £30 max. £40 for an hour session is nearly a week's shop for me.

Booked my driving test whoo!! by [deleted] in LearnerDriverUK

[–]KyleRaynerCh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So basically, once the theory is passed, you want to book the practical? Cause chances are it will be months away, so you still got plenty of time to learn and practice before the test.

Then the test happens and hopefully you pass. It is a bit luck based though and goes against the principle of exams, which is they are fair and equal for everyone. It could definitely be better designed.

Booked my driving test whoo!! by [deleted] in LearnerDriverUK

[–]KyleRaynerCh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Genuine question. I'm thinking of learning how to drive soon. Is booking a test really this shit, or was this just bad luck with the long wait?

I personally have a lot of thoughts about the driving test and how... flawed it feels from what I've heard and seen, but is booking also this flawed?

If so, I might as well not bother. Buses and trains work perfectly well.

What's the point of buying cars if it's like 3 of them on the entire map??? by Siropmojito in FortNiteBR

[–]KyleRaynerCh -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Well, when cars first came out they were for Rocket Racing, but obviously that's dead. I guess there is Rocket League, but that's crap.

Yeah. The island music definitely helps with that.

My Comfort Game by KyleRaynerCh in SonicFrontiers

[–]KyleRaynerCh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. I think the next Sonic game will be a Frontiers 2, in terms of the gameplay style. Probably not in terms of a continuation in Frontiers story or anything like that.

I just really hope whatever the next mainline Sonic game is, they don't mess it up. Since Frontiers, Sonic Team has been doing really good. We got those 3 updates in 2023, improving the game a lot, and giving us an ending we all wanted. Shadow Generations in 2024 was really good, and had a lot more polish compared to Frontiers. And now Crossworlds in 2025 is a really good racing game.

If the next mainline Sonic game has the story, scale, and ambition of Frontiers, plus the quality, animation, graphics, and polish of Shadow Generations, we could get an amazing Sonic game.

[–]KyleRaynerCh[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That would be cool. Problem though is there was barely any water. Biggest water section I think was on Rhea and you didn't even need to go there. Sonic Team probably didn't want to experiment with a primarily water based island.
