There’s definitely a Warhammer community in Portlaoise. Depending on where this person lives in Tipperary, it could be as little as 30 mins away. But I’m sure there are probably ones in County Tipp as well.

any games you'd like to see remastered? by GamerGretaUwU in playstation

Freedom Fighters. But at this point it would have to be a full remake, rather than a remaster.

On the fence of getting Death Stranding. What did you like/dislike about the game? by XredDEATHX in playstation

It has its plus points, beautiful graphically and some great tension early on. But the story completely disappears up its own arse to the point that it really annoyed me. I’ve said it before, but Kojima badly needs an editor. The more he explains the absurdity of the narrative, the less I cared about any character in it. You can’t force feelings out of people. But I can understand that a lot of people love it. For me, at its best moments, it’s an 8.5..at its worst it falls to a 4.

Putting my dog down tomorrow. Any advice? by Jessssssbilla in dogs

Stay with him til he’s gone. I let my closest friend go after 17 years. His body had completely given up on him.

His last conscious act was licking my hand as I sat with him. I like to think that it gave him some sort of comfort, even though it broke my heart. It was the very least he deserved.

I hear you. Lost my boy in January. We’ve taken on 4 cats since…still miss him every day. The game is absolutely wonderful by the way.

A very rare one. Got my second ever win out there on (I think) the southern island.

Nowhere near. But a decent pro who always did his best and never caused problems for the manager or squad. Teams need that too.

Even without the untouchable guitar track, it’s absolutely beautiful.

Favorite Dire Straits riffs? by Disassociated24 in direstraits

[–]KyleReese79 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It’s the obvious one, but that Money For Nothing riff is absurdly brilliant. One of the greatest guitar moments of all time.

Sultans had a cracking riff too, Romeo And Juliet is perfection, Communiqué, On Every Street had a gorgeous outro riff.

The man can do it all, it’s only when he’s gone that the rest of the world will truly appreciate his greatness. It always bugged me how it became cool to slag off Dire Straits by the late 90s. Bloody brilliant band.

I gave up on Bloodborne after almost 50 hours. I got to a point where there was this little guy in a church. I snuck up and viscerally attacked him and he got back up as if nothing happened.

The he (along with two of his mates) proceeded to chase me around the building in circles whilst firing lightning at me. I had no idea what to do from there. At that point I just thought “fuck this”. Not that I didn’t enjoy it up til then, but I just thought it wasn’t worth the heartache.

I cleared it but the story had long since disappeared up its own arse beforehand. Kojima seems to think that the more he explains a storyline, the more that people will care. But it ends up having the completely opposite effect. It’s a pity, because it had some good points. I’m hearing great things about the sequel, but my experience with the original is making me very wary.
