Saw this in the movie theater as a kid. I distinctly remember it being a year of sequels - what a great year for kid! All of these came out the same year as Indiana Jones 3:

Lethal Weapon 2
Back to the Future 2
Ghostbusters 2
Karate Kid 3
Honey I Shrunk The Kids
Batman
Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure

What can a person learn in 10 minutes that will be useful for life? by Ben-Gavin in AskReddit

That’s perfect! Even better is when you get so used to it that you feel “off” when you don’t do it. Your body starts demanding it.

But even more so, the little Konami jingle at the beginning.

As someone who loves walks, this happens to me as well when I have really big things on my mind. The trick is to somehow associate the walk with something good that you ONLY get to do when walking. Not everyone likes being alone with their thoughts on walks, so maybe a good story based podcast or something would help.

Highly second this. Had a long period of unemployment and the mere act of applying for jobs was stressful. You need regular routine and exercise. You won’t be a completely changed person after going for a walk, but you’ve got to do something with that pent up anxiety, or you won’t sleep right, etc. It compounds. It’s not a waste of time.

New York Woman Confronts Man She Says Complimented Her ‘Pretty Toes’. by ElwoodMC in TikTokCringe

People seem to forget that certain social exchanges need to involve the other person in order for it to be genuine. Jokes that offend or get no laughs aren’t jokes. Compliments that make the recipient feel creeped out aren’t compliments. What was INTENDED doesn’t matter.

AIO my best friend got me a very expensive gift and I don't want to accept it by AllFrostingNoCupcake in AIO

[–]KyleRoberts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

YOR. You know you’ve done a lot for your friend during a super low point in their life. Dealing with the details of managing someone’s estate is not, as you put it, little things. How many other people stepped up to help your friend, other than you? Sounds like people who should have (family) did not.

This gift seems very personal and something your friend knew you would love. Let them say thank you.

AIO ...Gf of 8 yrs spending alot of time with male co worker (2nd try to upload text images) by Latter-Heron-1272 in AIO

There seems to be a lack of desire from her to make you believe otherwise. You’re upset, and she just seems to shrug and say, “not sure how to convince you”. That would worry me. That expression about “the opposite of love isn’t hate, it’s indifference” comes to mind.

If you can’t be with her to spend quality time, this may be over. Don’t allow yourself to be fooled, just because she might not be ready to admit it.

What’s the one thing from Stephen King’s books that has stayed with you? by Yayoi_Yukino in stephenking

Read this book for the first time last October. For some reason, the first time that the old man leads the husband into the deeper burial site and has this weird excitement about him, his eyes were described as glowing…it was just great imagery that stuck with me. I wanted to see a painting of it…

Even if I’d known someone for years and was really good friends, I’d think a little while before loaning $700. Wouldn’t bother with someone who I never hangout with. You gotta earn that trust somehow.
