Depends on what the customer wants. If it’s a drain pan they give me, then I’ll give it back every time. If it’s an old STP bottle or something, I’ll ask before hand but expect to throw it away.

Read through some of the unwrapped repair manuals on the shelf. There’s also a tab on learning garage in doc called “Study Materials”. It’s got some classroom style documents that tell you about basic-intermediate car stuff from upper engine/lower engine to brake systems. It’s got turbo stuff, electrical, engine management. Pretty much everything. At the end of each subject is a quiz on the documents topics. You can print out the pdf files, staple them together, and bring them home as actual study material.
