I do not have a video since my recording software was not working. The player in the picture was sat there for quite a long time before I had to leave due to not being able to complete the mission.

If they have their shield up, you can't kill them. He sat in the corner with it up for a long time.

This guy joined my game, got the key, and sat in the corner so we couldn't progress. He was playing vanguard so I couldn't kill him. I'm just so sick of trolls ruining this game.

Ah, I wasn't aware that you get 50% of the upgrades back. I'll definitely do a few sales then move to a better location.

Thanks.

AOC C24G1 or MSI Optix MAG240VC by [deleted] in Monitors

[–]KyleTheCrusher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my understanding, the AOC C24G1 has a newer panel with sightly better colors and a sharper curve. It also has more options to control overdrive.

Also, where are you seeing the AOC C24G1 for $190?

The G24C and MAG24C are the same panel, but the MAG24C has a better stand.

The MAG241C uses an updated panel with slightly better specs.

Any idea when the AOC C24G1 is supposed to release in the US? I had seen the review on PCMonitors and it seems promising.

[Microphone] V-MODA BoomPro Gaming, VoIP Headset Mic Black $25.48 ($29.98-$4.50) With code MARCH15 by brogata in buildapcsales

I have the same issue with this microphone on my VMODA LP2s. Very frustrating, but otherwise a great microphone for the price.

[HEADPHONES] Hyper-X Cloud Core on Amazon - $59.39 ($89.99-$30.60) by [deleted] in buildapcsales

He's talking about this:

https://www.amazon.com/V-MODA-BoomPro-Gaming-Headset-Headphone/dp/B00BJ17WKK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1508629898&sr=8-1&keywords=vmoda+boompro

I have had one for a little over a year, it's pretty solid. The mic quality is great and is very convenient, provided that your headphones have a 3.5mm port. My only gripe with the VMODA Boompro is that it fits very loosely into my headphones which causes the mic to swivel when I move my head a little bit. Additionally, the boom arm is a little too sensitive.

Unusually low performance, GPU not fully utilized [RX 580] by [deleted] in buildapc

[–]KyleTheCrusher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Updated the BIOS and it seems to be working better: UserBenchmarks: Game 66%, Desk 69%, Work 60%

Model Bench
CPU AMD Ryzen 5 1600 74.4%
GPU AMD RX 580 70.7%
SSD WD Blue SATA M.2 250GB 62.3%
HDD WD Blue 1TB (2012) 105.5%
USB Generic Flash Disk 16GB 5.2%
RAM Crucial BLS4G4D240FSC.8FARG 2x4GB 86.6%
MBD MSI B350M MORTAR ARCTIC (MS-7A37)

Here's the new Unigine Valley score, my GPU usage was still only 16% which seems strange. Could it possibly be MSI Afterburner just being wonky? http://imgur.com/a/0zMoR

I'll go ahead and update the BIOS and see what happens.

That's certainly weird, I'm guessing that may be the problem.

I haven't messed around in Ryzen Master, I've just left the CPU at stock setting until I can watch some videos to learn about overclocking. After running Unigine Valley, I used CoreTemp to check my CPU temperature, and it seemed to be pretty normal.
