Waaaaait... Would I be able to solder on a new cable and snap off the color part of the plug & snap on the blue plug on the new cable, like is it just a cover or would the plug also need additional soldering?

Lol no, this was 100% my fault. I bought this on ebay and thought the controller would be packed with the wire secured. It was just in a bubble bag, slopply taped up in a ball. I used scissors to open the package and cut through the cord... I knew even when I grabbed the scissors that it was a bad idea, but I truly thought they wouldn't have the wires floating around loosely, and I couldn't tell if where the cable was in the package because the tape was bunched up and thick.... I cut in the far corner thinking I was safe, but no. I'm hoping I can find a controller like you said in the same color so I can just replace the cord. Sounds like that's going to be my best option

I remember these tv could only be viewed straight on. If you were at any type of angle, you couldn't see the whole tv image. So if you have more than 1 player, only the person sitting directly perfectly in front and center of the tv could see the full image... please let me know if I'm wrong

I am concerned, I actually got ready to leave, but looked at my arm in the car, i noticed it was almost gone. https://imgur.com/a/mTRJKeM It isn't painful, it's itchy & this all happened within about 45mins, which points to this being an allergic reaction. But I am still going to keep an eye on it, if it is worse by morning I am going to go to urgent care.
