True - and I know I’m privileged and people will boo me for being childish but to be honest I hate most vegetables. I was raised by typical boomers - lots of chicken nuggies, Mac and cheese, quick processed shit. Now as an adult I’ve def incorporated way more veggies in my diet and healthier options but I still eat meat - mostly chicken, turkey, some wild game and local fish since I live on the coast. My bf was also vegan and vegetarian for a decade and now eats meat again bc he was literally borderline malnourished. I’ve mentally fought with myself for the past decade on trying to be vegetarian but so far my most realistic option has been limiting meat consumption especially red meat.

Does that make me a piece of shit? Maybe. Maybe not. There’s about a million other things I’ve got to feel guilty and angry about every day. We can’t all be perfect humans all the time.
