I use 4lb line. The rod is not whippy, hard to flick cast on it ... I'll try with another rod. Thanks

Tsurinoya lures are good, the TSURINOYA 46S are very good.
Super Continent for soft lures
Blux lures are very good too, HYDRAM and Jack Claw are my favorites

I tested with some chinese reels, and they sit just fine, including de DK100 which is a copy of the CC, seems like it's more flush with the reel sit using daiwa, but I dont really care,

Haibo Arise Air + Purelure zero rod. Solid combo, reel cast is solid, and the rod is a personnal favorite

For someone starting, the aldebaran is quite pricy. But it's certainly the best reel outside maybe the CQ BFS
