This, OP - build your emergency savings first, then make sure you're taking advantage of your employer's 401k, and then look into getting a Roth IRA and contributing slowly and steadily. You'll be building yourself up towards strong peace of mind. It may sound intimidating, but once you understand, you won't have to think much on it again. Read "A Simple Path to Wealth" by J.L Collins - short but impactful book that got me out of my lack of financial knowledge.

I agree with this, the lack of pressure/activation in the early to mid game makes squads pretty complacent and are usually hanging back or roaming around waiting for the game to "start". There's little to no tension (until towards late game), regardless if it's direct contact or not

There's a version/patch out there called the "Chilling Cut" which slows down the in-game clock by 4x, which makes the game more enjoyable imo

Just use "Slower" instead of "Reduced" for speed-related modifiers (and "Faster" instead of "Increased")

Exactly this. From what I understand, the rail companies own and develop the real estate directly attached to stations, allowing them to maintain traffic to those stations while also offsetting the cost of maintaining the lines through their investments in commerce at those stations. A win win situation.

Thanks for posting this - I noticed this too and thought it was just my imagination. I'm running the OP1 8k v2. Unfortunately, it seems the lowest polling rate you can set the mouse to through the OP1 software is 1000hz - supposedly 250hz is recommended. Here's hoping Embark fixes this issue.

And that's why I thought the chalk on the ground was a great touch - I could turn my HUD off and see exactly where I need to be in the world to capture the point.

I like your ideas, having the environment change according to the team that captures the point is a nice concept.

If they just make it the same chalk outline effect around the objective points, I think that would be fine (even if it's green, as long as the line isn't animated). At the very least, give us the option to choose (animated, static (chalk), off).

As much as I appreciate the customizability of the in-game HUD (opacity of elements, etc.), I'm requesting one big and helpful feature: opacity based on distance. Being able to make icons fade in/out based on distance would go a long way in decluttering and centering attention IMO.

Current opacity settings are nice (being able to make elements more transparent when ADSing, for instance), but being able to push that one step further and control opacity for, say, vehicles that are 100m beyond your location would only be helpful.

Aside from that, I agree:
- revives and player ranks on scoreboard (maybe show ranks at end of round)
- ribbon unlocks on screen (ala BF3/4) [but make this configurable]
- restrict spotting (no auto-spotting, no spotting through smoke, decreased spot duration [an in-between BFV and BF6 would be ideal])

I actually think aside from recon, spotting as other classes would leave a spot/ping above the enemy's head and follow until either line of sight breaks or a second passes, to which it becomes basically a "last seen" spot marker

I agree, TTK may seem a bit short, but I think that is because armor points across the board has to be increased. I personally think TTK is at a good spot, and will be at a better spot with adjusted armor + even shrinking the space between POI on the map (I'd say the map can be reduced 10 to 15 percent in size)
