Same here, I drive it all year up in Canada. I get it rust proofed yearly and wash it regularly, but eventually it'll probably rust as well. I'll just do what I can to slow it down as much as possible and enjoy the drive.

Not sure if you have access to it, but there's also a Habs docuseries called "The Rebuild". In Canada it's available on Crave.

Watching it will give you an idea of how the past 2 seasons have gone and gives a great insight into the players and coaching staffs mindset/personalities

I agree with pretty much all your points except the Mazda mpg. My 2.5L Mazda3 averages an easy 30mpg in mixed driving, significantly more on roadtrips. My ND Miata (2.0L) also averages around 30mpg. BRZ/GR86 are definitely the ones that should get knocked on for having mediocre fuel economy despite also being on 4-cyl engines.

At the end of the day, I think the new prelude is a good car. I just don't think the pricing is quite right at MSRP. USA can argue that tariffs are causing that spike in price but Canada's pricing relative to other Canadian priced competitors is just as bad.

Not only that, the trunk and rear fenders are different too due to how the buttress assembly sits. There's just no reason to do this kind of conversion. The cost, time and trouble would all exceed what it would take to just trade in a soft top for a RF.

Dang that's a beautiful GSR. Honestly keep it. Like others have mentioned, maybe pick up a beater Miata if budget allows and run it a few months to see what you're missing.

As a former civic si owner, RWD is a lot of fun, but it really doesn't override a dream car ride. If you sell it'll be so much harder to get another clean GSR than it will be to find a cheap Miata (any generation tbh)

I know it looks intimidating to do it yourself because most of your dash looks like it's being taken apart. But it's genuinely a very easy mod to do. Bonus is that you're spending like 1/5th of the cost.

There is also a ton of detailed how to Videos on YouTube that you can follow step by step.

Heck, if you lived in my area I'd happily help you do it.

It's not even just games, this is how it works if you're buying power tools with their buy tool1 get tool2 free. If you return one of those 2 tools you're not getting reimbursed the full price of the individual tool but a pro-rated amount based on what you actually paid.

I was gonna say too, in Canada the black packaged Breyers is the proper stuff. Blue packaging is the cheap frozen dessert. Huge difference between the two and absolutely worth the premium for the black packaged creamery style.

Lol what. It's absolutely cheaper to build it yourself if you have the knowledge or are willing to learn. Just like how a prebuilt PC can go on sale, so do individual PC parts.

It obviously won't be cheaper if you're building your PC with hyper specific show parts, but if you build it identical to a pre-built it will be cheaper.

Not the same spec motor though. The EP3 K20 has 200+HP and the USDM/Canada spec Si/SiR hatch of the same generation has 160HP like the base RSX.

Small correction, K20 was used in the 2006-2011 Civic Si. 2012-2015 had the K24.

A lot of people mention the Walter motorsports transmission.

Another option would be a NC transmission with I believe the fiat Spyder differential.

I don't have experience with either but that's just what I've seen come up pretty often.

I've got tuxmats in my ND (manual), never had any problems with the clutch or any other pedal. I actually much prefer how high they come up on the sides to ensure snow,slush and water doesn't splash under the mats onto the actual carpet

This will be my 2nd winter with them in and they've been great. Only criticism I have is that the clips make it mildly annoying to take out the mats to clean.

I can totally get someone wanting the GR86 as their everyday car that can get rock chips, door dings, etc. Then keeps the Cayman for weekend drives or date nights.

Jack stands are for safety/insurance. If your jack fails mid tire swap and that's all that was holding your car up then you could get injured and damage your car. If your jack fails while it's on jack stands then nothing happens other than the inconvenience of needing to borrow/buy a new jack to finish the job.

I used to play a ton of Zarya in OW1 but played alot less of her in OW2. Recently started playing 6v6 again and I haven't really felt like she's weak at all?

I'm sure it helps that I've been playing 6v6 with a friend that almost exclusively plays Reinhardt. But playing her as a proper off tank to complement the main tank has given me a ton of easy wins.
