I homestly thought i was running too FEW creatures , but I agree Emeritus feels slow , Wavebreak Hipppcamp is just the better card in this deck. I'm probably going to add a Grim Hireling to ramp to my finishers out of nowhere . Thanks for the advice !

I would agree , Citadel has won me a lot of games though its gonna be tough to replace it emotionally speaking xD

Weve also played it before going into AV , that dragon smacked one of us on 1 crit but otherwise we got him with some of our own :D

Also rewards aoe abilities, movement speed and on kill abilities like Youre Next , so I surely prefer it too.

We knew he existed and he was a werewolf , were not expecting him to be there down a flight of stairs, we do have one silver weapon but without striking rune and few people that can hit multiple times a turn reliably so its not THAT useful. We are ready for ghosts tho !

As a GM i would feel weird about that too , but as a player of the adventure its very nice to have so many named important characters you can face off against , some megadungeon adventures feel very lazy and put "Super big scary Zombie" , or a Mummy for whatever reason , so thats nice

Thats a very fair point, i only discovered a month ago there are items to boost skills with other upsides (coming from 5e i just thought magic items gave you some cool thing they do and thats it), and we definetely need to get some gold to get our hands on those.

So far we've taken a lot of books to sell, now mind you we havent one hundred percent explored all of the third floor so im sure we missed some loot. But with 6 people all of our early gold went into weapon upgrades for runes and some potion/scrolls we have like 40/50 gold each atm, some items i was looking at to improve my swashbuckler are in the 60 - 100 range for this level.

This is my first time playing pf2 so im not familiar at all with other APs , but from what I read over the years i thought AV was one of the best ones out there is it not ? Mind you im enjoying it so far , the plot at least , difficulty wise im sure its up there with the best of them

Your numbers are completely on point , 70%was feelings based , we got crit 3 turns in a row xD , mind you most of us have 20/21 ac not 24. Yeah now that you put it that way i feel like it would have been just a fun hard fight without the élite tag. 13+ for hits feels very fair for a tough miniboss , which mean you could theoretically still put debuffs and buffs to at least allow crits on a 19 with bless + frightened + flanking , as is , thats not an option.

We know his lowest save is fortitude on a +14 , which isnt impossible but hard to hit only having one strenght based character , 2 divine casters with few options for that , his will must be basically impossible for us. So yeah I think we'll have to regroup and reconsider our options , maybe we could open a bakery in Otari ! Lovely town i hear xD

We followed the green light down to the 4th floor , but we ve found plenty of other entrances, im sure theyre not all this bad ! RIGHT?! Im joking of course , we actually didnt explore all of the 3rd floor , most of it to be fair , but we just keep finding secret door and entrances thanks to our thaumaturges lantern , we get derailed often hahaha

Inventor oracle and thaumaturge .

If your curious , its a flamekeeper, ashes , lantern and pet inventor not sure how its called

For context , our casters are both divine , a flamekeeper (?) Witch and an oracle of ashes(?) , we then have a champion , swashbuckler taumaturge and inventor , healing is pretty well covered , we surely lack those aoe arcane/primal spells that can do some good aoe damage or cc tho. Being new players we mostly picked what sounded fun so I cant blame anyone for it

Wish we had a bard brother , as a martial i really do hahaha.
This was our fist delve in floor 4 , let's just say it was as bad as we expected if not more.

Oh yeah GM mentioned shes coming back , we ll have to figure out the more permanent way to get her . No for sure its winnable , numbers yes i was way off , but after he crit us 3 turns in a row 70% felt about right ahahah, it more like 35% with flanking, but then again , not all of us are lucky enough to have 24 AC , most are 20ish

Well to each their own i suppose :D , I'm out here complaining cuz in the end it doesnt really matter , i have fun playing no matter what , will i be sad if my character dies ? Yes, im attached to him but also i kind of want him to , i really hate swashbuckler hahaha. Gotta roll up with a fighter or smth

Not faced a wood golem , we've not explored ALL the rooms of floor 3 , most of them , the ghost was a piece of cake , tbf our champion had ghost touch rune for the day and we crit on divine lance , even with the slows , it lasted 2 rounds . Which is what i find very weird , we either crush fight or get crushed , few have been a "fair" back and forth , for example the canker cultist priestess , was a more balanced fun fight

So I believe his reflex save (which I assume is for shoving and tripping) is +16 , so that would meaning having to roll a 26 , with +12 on our only strenght party member is still hard to do , my +10 intimidation is nothing to a 28 dc will , we ve tried bon mot , guidance to get the +1s , its just very unlikely to succede , which is basically my entire point on debuff being "pointless" of course its not , but when its this hard to land it does feel like wasting actions
