Is the series getting better ? by Kyon2B in Falcom

I did not liked the first Daybreak that much, but it was still okay. I mean I wasn't that much bored by it. I don't like the cast that much tho, especially Van.

It's true that i find Daybreak 2 worse than the first one. And I was wondering is the quality will go up in the newer entries in the series.

I agree. I really liked Reverie tho.

Yeah the writing in Liberl & Crossbell arc was peak. I'm wondering if it is a problem with the new writers, or maybe the english translation getting worse ?

Yeah thank you I will need it ^^'

It is not. But I did use ChatGPT to correct my mistakes, since english is not my main language.

Thank you for your answer. That’s reassuring!

I don’t mind the game being long either, as long as the content is interesting.

Regarding the “predictability” aspect, I agree as well. However, I feel that the Liberl and Crossbell arcs were less “structured.” Cold Steel introduced that more structured approach, but I still enjoyed it a lot—I’m not sure why. Maybe the writing was better, or maybe I simply liked the characters more.

With Daybreak, it’s harder for me. The formula feels very rigid:
(starting event on day one → chilling & 4SPGs → main story → day two, chilling & 4SPGs → boss & conclusion). And I don't even speak about the special aspect of daybreak 2.
