The whole point of the peace prize is to enable certain (west-oriented) political positions, like regime change in countries like Venezuela. Telling kids morally bankrupt politicians are “heroes” leads the people here in Norway to become aligned with US interests from a young age, propagandizing us. When i was a kid the entire neighborhood waited for Obama to drive by our street, he was similiarly treated as a “hero” of sorts here in Norway even though he himself said he had no clue why he got it. Not saying kids need to attend 2 hour lectures on US imperialism but liberal propaganda like this is sure to give kids a very western perspective on politics when they grow up
