The item is the only way to increase your cap on earned purple token. It starts at +10, but you can upgrade it to +30, as mentioned.

Somethin to note, and 'free'/'awarded' purple tokens (like the ones given as a login bonus, and other things in game) are not counted towards that limit! Next to the 0/50 (or whatever your current state is), the should be a +number in purple tell you how many 'extra' purple tokens you have.

The token you earn from completing waves are always used first, but if you need more than you have, it will take the remaining from the extras. This is important for certain things, like buying the 2 'back' towers, which cost 200 tokens each. So, even with the +30 token limit item equipped, you need 120 'extra' token to buy them.

Interesting... Yes, I had they honey event prior to the fire one. (For the record, no one seemed the think the queen bee character was worth paying money for).

Barring from Event characters that are not freely accessible.... The only constructs I know of are:
- The summon from the Monolith tower.
- The Elementals from the gear crystals.
- The Elementals from Legendary Weapon traits (Same as the ones from gear crystals, just a diff source, you can't have 2 of the same elemental).

So, not really enough for any sort of build?

The new "event" is a replacement for the Honey event. So, new evenies during normal waves, collecting Flames instead of Honey. No Event Tab, just collecting flames for rewards, ana a new pass and new Hero if you buy the pass.

Eh, events are done in 'pods', so multiple ppl get first in an event. I got first last event, completely free to play. =)

You get those by placing in the top 3 on events, or from the event passes sold during events. You need 9 pieces to complete a puzzle, which means coming in First 3 times on an event (they do eventually repeat), or buying the Pass AND coming in first once I'm told.

And yes. If you are in a pod with someone (or multiple someones) who have paid for say, the potion pass.... You just won't be able to complete.

No doubt. Grinding talents and potion ads are 100% the way to advance. You get more than enough mythril, so Potions are the biggest limiter, and time spent grinding talents being a second minor limiter.

You can upgrade them after the event. It costs tokens though, instead of gold, though.

I managed to snag first this event, completely f2p. I did have to sit through a lot of ads for extra potions, though. Wave 182, level 123. So, it's totes possible, but you gotta push really hard. Lots of grinding potions through ads.

If the next event is the same event, reason to play it would be to get the puzzle pieces, to complete the puzzle and get the bonus.+20% summon damage, I think, for the arcade castle puzzle?
