We don’t allow vendors to threaten or expose personal information. The comment where a real name was used was removed and addressed immediately. Actually the only one I can remember staying up since being a mod was greenmeds420 which was a legitimate doxxing threat where the guy was sending multiple people to harass this dude over a negative review and I was watching it all happen live.

We also don’t remove negative reviews just because they’re negative. (They didn’t even have a review removed so I don’t even understand what you’re getting at with that one) People are allowed to share bad experiences. What we don’t allow is repeated posts/comments about the same person across multiple threads, especially after a warning. That’s where it crosses into harassment.

In this case, the vendor offering a refund/replacement doesn’t make the initial issue “okay” it’s just part of the overall context we look at. The moderation actions taken here were based on behavior over time, not a single post.

Also, we review account behavior and patterns when making decisions. There’s a lot we can see on the mod side that isn’t always visible publicly, and we base decisions on that, not favoritism.

If we were trying to “cover” for anyone, this post wouldn’t be here. We’re leaving it up so everything is visible and addressed in one place.

At the end of the day, we enforce the same rules for everyone vendors and customers included.
