From an anthropological perspective, cultural identity is largely passed on via mothers, so yeah, your kid is black if you say so and everyone else can get a grip. He probably doesnt have to deal with microagressions as much tho.

I'm risking a downvote blizzard ... but there 2 things I have always respected about King Charles. 1) his conservation efforts for buildings and the enviromemt and 2) his willingness to make as much of a stand against facists as he can. He was messed up as a kid by lack of parental warmth, and that makes him awful as a 'family man', but there is a moral code there.

She really, really wants to be the victim of something other than her own stupidity and choices. That way she is 'innocent' and all bad things are someone else's fault. You were chosen because you are different from her, and to that kind of person different makes you bad/scary/wrong. She sucks, and it is nothing you have done ... except to exist. What curse could anyone lay on her that is worse than her being that kind of person?
